This is a city tour of Scottsdale Arizona. We start out down in downtown Scottsdale and then head up to North Scottsdale like the area around Troon. We also explore south Scottsdale then go over to Kierland Commons. There is another area we explore around Papago and Arizona Botanical Garden.

And I’m not trying to be some annoying troll on the internet, but being heavily involved in the AZ real estate market, it appears Phoenix is having A LOT of new residents move here from California, New York, and Washington DC. About 80% of them are “escaping” either a high cost of living, crime, homelessness, etc... These also happen to be some of the most liberal areas in our country. @@David-et7gk I'm also from Canda. The quality of life is worse than the greater Toronto area, but if you earn well and like warmer temperatures, then the US is a good. I only visited San Antonio. The downtown looks nice, but the rest of the city is typical suburban sprawl. The city is modest, and the job market seems less competitive as in Houston, Dallas, or Austin.

Lived in McCormick Ranch now for 15yrs. Ride our bikes all directions and see new neighborhoods and beautiful backdrops daily. Absolutely never get tired of the architecture, landscape and sunny days. Two years to adapt to hot summers, but enjoy less crowded urban spaces and restaurants, plus the pool is always inviting May-Sep. Oct-Apr, simply turn on the weather channel and grin from ear-to-ear. We just have to be patient with Illinois plated drivers as we all know why they are here. Thanks for the awesome showcase.

Just moved to AZ from Dallas,TX. Have had a condo in Pinetop for many years and just bought another one in Scottsdale. So we feel we have the best of both worlds since we can keep cool in Pinetop in the summer and enjoy the mild winters in Scottsdale.

I’ve lived in AZ all my life (I’m 28) something about the city has always attracted me even when I was like 4, even back then when I would go to the fashion square I just knew it was a very high-end mall at that age. Even just looking at the bright white traffic lights with the Blue street sign I always found weirdly fascinating 😂

I grew up in Scottsdale, it’s nice. However I’m now living in San Diego and love it so much more! Central Arizona’s heat from May-October is horrible. The cost of living I have found is about the same and the year round beautiful weather of San Diego is unbeatable.

Brendon Stewart If I was from Orange County and I know what I know now, I would never move to Scottsdale. It’s hot as f!&kin hell from May- Oct! Some people love the heat and or their not that bothered by it. If you’re looking to move somewhere else what about LA (or surrounding areas) Camarillo, Oxnard/Ventura, Santa Barbara area? Or at least try Palm Springs it’s nice, trendy, and very hot like Scottsdale. There’s also more gang violence in central Arizona vs OC. I’ve lived in three countries over the last 10 years and have traveled to 168 cities/towns around the world. @@lawman34 It’s a desert. Deserts aren’t for everyone. There are the weak that can’t stand the heat or the cold and those types of people don’t do well here. Arizona has plenty to offer and it’s a great alternative if you can’t afford or can’t stand California anymore (it’s no longer what it used to be). We have crime but it’s way less compared to the other big cities. We don’t have earth quakes and wildfires aren’t such a big deal. Yes it’s hot but it’s a dry heat. 90 degrees will feel like heaven when you are used to 100+ and make sure to get a pool. And if you do move here you can join us when we laugh at the Texans and Floridians with their humid heat.

90-100 degrees will feel like heaven? Lol! I’ve not felt one earthquake since living in California. There are wildfires occasionally here, but mostly up north. You can’t beat the beach, fresh ocean air, and Mediterranean climate of San Diego. I find the people in California to be more cultured and sophisticated overall.
