Scott’s E3 videos are mad underrated. I get why a video on E3 2001 wouldn’t get as many views as other topics, but I love seeing all this history truncated into these videos.

Are they underrated? I think they are some of his strongest content. It combines video game history with that Scott humor. It’s kinda perfect. Too bad we will probably never see another E3 retrospective…. since Scott appears to be on track for 6 videos a year now.

I was at the 2001 show. Super awesome show. Got to play the ps2 and demos of gran turismo, metal gear solid 2, which they had a really great setup! Also, Nintendo gave out a bunch of free Advances which of course me being me, missed out on. :(. Good times though.

It’s funny looking back at the N64 when Nintendo was struggling to get games out because of the challenges that came with the introduction of the third dimension and now it’s like there’s so many games on the switch! Meanwhile PlayStation and Xbox are struggling to get more than like two games out on their consoles. Sometimes you just gotta wait and life will reward you :)

Was 299 really expensive for the OG Xbox? The PS2 launched at 299 a year earlier and was much less powerful. I guess it's really down to game selection.

Last year was kind of lame, but this year was basically an E3, Summer Games Fest was good, Xbox was good, Sony exists probably, Nintendo was good though a week late to the party, if these digital conferences keep happening like this every year we could continue these series, just call it Summer Games Fest and Friends.
