@@charliefunk3309 well, I got bought a PS1, a PS2, a NDS, a Gameboy SP and repaired my old psp from way back when (analog stick was drifting and the battery was dead) so it's going pretty well (I already have a NDSi, a wii, a ps4, a ps4 pro and an Xbox). Just gotta get a wii u, a wii mini, a n64, a nes, a snes, a Gameboy, a GBA, GBC, GBP, PS3, a PS Vita, A 2ds, 3ds, new 3ds, all the Sega consoles, a Xbone, a xbox360, N64DD, a switch and PSTV, I think. There's more but these are currently on my to get list.

I’m a big fan of my personal one, I’ve got an NES, SNES, famicom, super famicom, n64 (region unlocked) Panasonic Q (region unlocked, I use it as a DVD player and a GameCube) wii, Wii U, Nintendo switch, moving on to Xbox, clear original Xbox, 4 Xbox 360s, first is the main one, second is the second player one for the CRT TV (Sony trinitron), third is loaded with mod software and some insane cosmetics, and forth is an Xbox 360 arcade I built into a custom cabinet to turn into an arcade machine. original Xbox one (connected to CRT TV using HDfury) Xbox one X (main Xbox one). And PlayStation wise I’ve got a PlayStation 1 (original model) PlayStation 2 slim, PSP, 2 PlayStation 3s one for the crt another for the main TV. And finally a ps4. For sega I got a genesis, master system, and Dreamcast. And for my computers I got a commodore PET, commodore Vic 20, and Commodore 64.

God I've left so many comments on this vid from coming back over and over. I've been using Scott's video as a meterstick to figure out how my collection is going. I know it's not a race, but, in my mind, it is. Makes me feel good knowing in a few years I could have the collection of my dreams. Doing Pretty good. Counted scott's media shelf, and he's got 185 games 11 monthes after he started (june 2013 to may 2013), which is where I am. I "started" in june, albeit i had some games from my childhood and whatnot, but I consider the purchase of Madden 95 for the Genesis and a model 3 genesis as my start point, in June of 2021. It's now May 2022 and I'm at 211 games. I'm actually pretty happy with my collection's progress. Still got a bunch of games I really want, but I also already got a bunch of games I wanted. I got Battlefield Bad Company, I got a PS4 and some of the key games I wanted for that, Gravity Rush 1 and 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spiderman, Left Alive (shitty game, great box though), Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 4 and 5 Dancing collection, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Infamous second son, and the Uncharted collection. There's still a bunch of ps4 games I want, but those where the core games I really wanted. There's a few I still kinda really want, but I'm probably gonna break from PS4 game buying for a while as I'm happy where it's at. Ps1 has been a pretty big go to collecting point for me. More so than I thought. I got a pretty nice collection of those. Xbox 360 is just overflowing because of how cheap and easy they are to get. I do want to get a switch and start getting games for that. It's nice that I can emulate them, as I already spent $300 on a 3ds and don't want to buy another $300 system. I guess it's kinda stupid, but my next purhcase is probably going to be Fire Emblem on the gamecube. I like my GC collection so far, but I want to get that game. I'm gonna save up and bite the bullet on that one. After that, I'll probably take it easy. My space is limited, but it won't be very soon. I got a lot of games, and frankly I have TONS more in the form of roms on my PC, so I'm not hurting to play games. But I do want to collect the physical copies. After splurging on fire emblem, I'll probably take it easy. Just save up some money, especially since I'm hopefully going to expand my room by a considerable amount this summer. If that goes through, it won't be completed until like fall, either september or october. But I'll have more than double the sqfootage in my room. I'll have a dedicated alcove for my bed and dresser, and then a big area for my computer desk and a couch and tv, including a CRT. It's going to be an amazing setup. I'll also have room for more shelves, which I don't have the room for. So I'll just spend the summer saving both for that time when I can really buy more games, as well as just general saving up money for anything that may come. I've been sprinting in my goal to gain more games, and not being in highschool, keeping with scott's highschool pace is a bit taxing. Some would say comparing myself to scott's collecting habits in highschool is a recipe for disaster. It actually seems to ground me and make me realize that, while my collection is small, it's growing at a great pace. It's shown me I don't need to spend so much at one time, and I can relax a bit. It's helped me curb my spending, especially wiht so many games I want still. But god damnit if I don't want Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. I am using these comments also as a timeline to look back on. Same as scott is taking pictures of his game collection and pickups, I want to have a visual aid to look back on when my collection grows bigger. Maybe I'll do some youtube focuses on it too. I do love doing youtube, and hope to have more time to make videos in the future (though It'd never be my livelyhood). Or maybe it'll just be for me. But this way I don't have to rely 100% on what I remember. I look back fondly on my childhood, and one day, I'll look back fondly on these early days of collecting.
