As an American, I salute you Aussies! You are a far better car culture than we are. At least you demand your car manufactures to make muscle cars that turn and stop. Keep up the good work and show them how its done!

yes most 4 door are front wheel cause there for winter use , engine weight over the drive tires, thats a good thing, summer cars are 2 door r wheel drive. and are in a warm garage for the winter season.

I used to do DVD's back when DVD first kicked off, but it was too much of a headache. Some people's players would play them, others wouldn't. the system seems much better now but I'm still hesitant to dive back into that. Been thinking about a possible itunes release at some point. Maybe do a proper Best Of Scotty's Garage.

the ones running on methanol/alky have pipes dumping infront of the rears tyres, cause they're running so rich (on/off throttle doesn't help either) a lot of unburnt fuel gets through the valves and ends up in the pipes or on the tyres. car backfires and sets it alight, tyres themselves won't actually catch on fire despite how often it may look like they do.

Because that's what the car companies build down here. Australia has a relatively small population so sporty two door cars have always been a rarity. So when it comes to street machines and hot rods we build what's available. Does Canada even have a car industry?

Hell, I can burn rubber with a 4-cylinder. Where I come from, the only reason for a burnout is to heat a tire for traction, so to just sit there and burn up a set of tires seems a bit pointless to me. To each his own, I guess. I just tend to like to make forward progress, not just go through tires.

I know I'm in the minority here, but what's so special about these burnouts? Yeah, they create a lot of pretty smoke, but that's all the spectator can see half the time. You can't see the car at all, just clouds of smoke. Big deal!
