I get excited when I see you are trying a new trick/ride and so on. Its crazy how I feel the nervousness or anticipation just by watching. This is an incredible journey and I feel privileged to be apart of it. Thank you for sharing your life and your progress. It would have been so easy for you to just shut down and hide after the crash. It takes a ton of humility to go from the XGames winner to learning how to bunny hop without feeling resentful, let alone putting it out there for the world to see. The positivity you bought to the guys back in the day when they were learning new tricks is carrying over to yourself re-learning tricks. I admire you, if I'm ever in town I'd like to stop by the bike shop and shake your hand. Thanks Scotty.

@dfpguitar6 жыл бұрын
Really enjoyed this experiment! Scotty, when I first learned how to bunnyhop I figured it out by learning to raise my back wheel into the air while standing stationary with one foot on the ground. This involves pushing backwards to hook the pedal somewhat. The next progression is lifting the back wheel while rolling (obviously both feet on the pedals). This is the part that is letting you down so I think this drill would be really useful for you. Your back wheel currently only leaves the ground by an inch, but I reckon with a week or two of practice you would be able to lift it 10 inches while rolling. Once you can do that you can do the full bunny hop sequence, lifting the front end first. You clearly have no problem with the front.

Brother I wrecked my back 2 1\2 weeks ago. I took a hard slam I hit so hard I knocked the wind out of me to the point my ears were ringing I fractured a rib and bruised a lung because. My bike is too big but I got it second hand dirt cheap but it makes everything harder from hops to bails. So my heart goes out to you brother the last 2 1\2 weeks have been hell not being able to ride so I couldn't imagine what you are going through. Love and Respect!
