Wait, Big Boy went Pro? And the answer is Yes! Well, he circled the Pro category and paid $50 to be a pro, but whatever.. The Incline Club Skatepark hosted the Jump for Joy BMX competition and a whole bunch of BMX riders of all ages showed up to compete and have an awesome day! I had a blast hanging out and filming all the local riders. In this video you will see the highest airing 10 year old BMX rider in the world! You will also see his older brother attempt a front flip! Then The Big Boy, Josh Peschock, Dom Simoncini, Brooklyn, Karl Goldenbaum, Eddie Rovi, And Matty Cranmer put on an insane show for the crowd tearing the skatepark to shreds! I don't know if he will be better than Scotty. What makes me uncertain is that Matty doesn't seem to have the same commitment to the sport that is so obvious when you watch/listen to Scotty. BB, though he will most likely never go pro, has the same kind of drive I see with Scotty - just not as much raw talent. Matt's the opposite - TONS of talent, but kind of lacking the drive. However, he's still relatively young and hopefully he'll develop it... I love watching him ride park. He's got style for days and goes huge.

Davis Kane He is 18-19yrs old. He has the ability and if you watched the "What Would Scotty Do" video you see a fire is lit. Keep an eye on Matty once he gets a 1 on 1 with Scotty when he gets home. You know the talk is coming. Scotty to Matty "how bad do you want to take your riding?" Because Scotty will guide him if he wants it. Question is what will Matty's answer be...

M Davis That's a great point actually, as I'm sure Scotty's role as a coach is going to be heightened 1000% while he recovers. Even more so than his riding, I am really impressed with his ability as a motivator - Big Boy's progress as case and point. I really hope Matty takes up the mantle, he could be one of the best for sure.
