I have one and I got the model w the 20 inch rims. U can definitely hear the outside noise but what I did hear was if u got a model with 18 inch rims the cabin will be a lot quieter

I don’t know why automakers think these huge screen in a car are a good idea. I actually find them distracting. I want to drive a car, not a tablet. Give me a car with an honest to goodness instrument cluster and a smaller center screen for the audio and nav, and I’ll be much happier.

There are plenty of pre-refresh XT4’s with a 8-inch display that you can buy. Why try to stunt the brand’s growth because you personally don’t require cutting edge technology? This brand still has to compete with other luxury brands that may offer better infotainment experiences so it’s obvious why these huge vibrant screens are a great idea in a luxury vehicle approaching $60k.

You can remove that Cargo Cover, but you can't store it in the Car. So that is super Handy when you need more room all of a Sudden, like at an Airport, Grocery Store, School. You know, those places. It has No Spare Tire and you paid over 50K for it. So that Nice Fake Leather Interior you paid too much for will come in handy as you wait for a Tire guy or tow truck. Oh, I do not understand everyones Love of all the lights on this car, What the Cadillac Badge isn't enough? I don't get it.. I know what I do get, I paid 21k for my Chevrolet Trax. Which is the Same car as this Cadillac. Different front Clip, engine and transmission a 9 speed in the Cadillac and Probably AWD, Trax has a 6 speed and FWD because if you need AWD to drive to Work or the Store or your Diners Club, You should have bought a 4 Wheel Drive to tackle that Urban Jungle. However the entire rest of the Car is Identical and infact I have more Cargo Room and only 1 inch difference in Leg Room and Head room. The Cargo Area is Larger in the Trax, Trax also comes with a Spare Tire because I can go buy an Air pump and a Can of fix a Flat and Store it in the Car. My Cargo has a Retractable Cover that rolls up right behind the Back Seat Headrests and I can Take it off and Store it IN THE CAR.. If you park it Next to a 2024 Chevrolet Trax you will see they are Shaped the same. Same Dash with the Cadillac having Fake Leather on it Same Seating of course in Fake Leather and a Few other Gidgets you really don't Need. Hey it's Your Money and you pissed it away on a Cadillac Trax.. Both GM Products by the way. Happy Motoring

I'm sorry but your Trax in no way compares with the XT4. Your Trax doesn't have the ride quality or sound proofing that the XT4 does. As for the spare tire which you mention several times, guess what?, you can get a spare tire in the XT4. It's not standard but you can spec one. The tonneau cover will store in the vehicle if you flop down one of the seats, not the best option but it can be done depending on what else you're carrying. The XT4 is more closely related to the Equinox, a step up from your Trax. As you mentioned the engine and tranny aren't the same in the 2 cars. The Trax has a 1.2 L 137HP engine, that's close to half of the XT4s 2.0L 235HP. Included in any AWD XT4 is a torque vectoring rear axle which sends power to the appropriate rear wheel when needed. The torque vectoring also provides some more confident handling. You discount AWD but it's certainly handy in snow, mud or rainy situations and will out perform fwd in those conditions. The dash is definitely not the same, the XT4 has a 33" contiguous display and digital rear view mirror which aren't available on your Trax. The XT4 has heated AND ventilated front seats as well. The Trax 6 speaker sound system won't come close to the XT4s 14 speaker sound system. If you're budget conscious then you saved some money and got what you wanted. XT4 buyers will get something they want which is a much more luxurious vehicle which will be easily noticeable. Perhaps go drive an XT4 and see if you think it's an equivalent car then.

@@rc1298 ever hearsd of Dynomat. Yea you need to flop down a Seat to store a Tonneau Cover, Well thought out when you have people in the Back seats. Don't much care about AWD it is more of a Burden than a Saving grace. If you need AWD buy a 4WD. You know Stereo's are very inexpensive and so are Speakers/Speaker boxes. Because, Nothing says Luxury than a Trax with a Cadillac Badge, 14 speakers and Dynomat sound deadening, and of course the all expensive to maintain AWD. I say that because Get a Flat or the Tire blows apart Now you need to BUY 4 Tires or your AWD is screwed up. You can't put 1 new tire or even 2 new tires they all have to be Changed. However in a 4WD you can change 1 tire and still have 4WD. Same with FWD. I also have 2, 4WD and have always had 4WD.. AWD is another Gouge to your pocket and Idiots buy off on it Daily. You don't need AWD to drive thru your Concrete Jungle, or in Snow, and where exactly is this Mud you speak of on the way to Costco in the City and why would you take a Car with 7 inches of ground Clearance in the Mud. So enjoy your $50,000 XT4 Cadilllac Trax. You are either Blind or Stupid, Maybe Both who Knows.😁

Do you do that on every car review on KZbin that's not a Trax? Do you want every person in the world to buy a Trax? You do realize people have different needs and wants. You want to save cash, some people want a vehicle that's different. I will say nice name calling. It seems you're trying to prove your manliness after buying a Trax.
