So how is Alexander Scourby reading these scriptures now when he died in 1985. It sounds more like a computer generated voice of Alexander than Alexander himself. And it also comes with some mispronunciations which was totally uncharacteristic of Alexander Scourby. But it’s still very good and much appreciated.

Thank you for your comment. Alexander Scourby recorded over 450 Book during his lifetime so that's scourby. We are remastering the Apocrypha and publishing all the books of the Apocrypha to a playlist. You may not know this, but the Aprocrypha was in the 1611 King James Bible, between the Old and New Testament, for 274 years until it was taken out in 1855 for unknown reasons. So we are now in the process of putting it back. As well as publishing an Apocrypha playlist, we also will be publishing a new version of the 1611 King James Bible with the Apocrypha in between the Old and New Testament, just like it was in the 1611 King James Bible. @@ScourbyYouBible : Thank you for your response. I’m a subscriber to 3 Scourby Audio Bible apps and I listen almost every day. I just completed listening to another 6 month reading of the complete Bible yesterday and I’m starting again from the beginning today. I really appreciate the audio Bible and Alexander is my favourite narrator by a long shot. Is there any chance you folks might in the future add the apocrypha and maybe other books like Enoch Jasher etc to the existing audio Bible apps? Just wondering. It sure would be nice to have everything together in one place.

I guess I understand why they removed these. They are good for detail, but a bit repetitive. Better to err on the side of caution and keep them in. But alas, we have them now.

The Apocrypha and the missing books of the Bible condemned idol worship and making statues as instruments of worship. That's why the Catholic Church most likely have these books removed way back then
