The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885. It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible. The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24 When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. (LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE FOLLOW MESSAGE) A SHORT PROPHETIC WORD, about how you, as ONE, can be a part in the fulfillment of PROPHECY today. Please read the following key verses relating to the Prophecy of Jesus in John 17. In Mark 16:15, Jesus said this: “Go ye into all the WORLD, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (that’s EVERY ONE) Two Thousand years ago, to carry out Jesus's request, it had to be done in person, by walking or riding a donkey. However, today it can be done from the comfort of your home, using your mobile device. The relevant Prophecy is found in the 26 verses in John 17. The entire chapter is Jesus' final prayer to God, just before being crucified. In that prayer Jesus asked God to do specific things for those who would follow, and they include the ONES following Jesus today. After reading this and listening to this carefully many times I've come to realize that in one sense the inner man is the body of Christ that we are brought together in one body what was the Jew and Gentile. When we are in Christ then we have put on the new man and that man is the body of Christ

I am so thankful for this! To hear and see God's Word is like a welcome injection of His Spirit into my heart and mind, giving peace to my soul. I fight with sleep; almost like a petulant child: I don't want to miss any bit of knowledge! So I use the readings to quiet my mind, while giving my heart something good, something peaceful, something of God. Thank you. However, I have one thing to ask: The pages don't 'turn' for verses 21-24, the last 4 verses of the last chapter of the book. Verse 20 (18:04) is read and is visible, but the page doesn't 'turn' for v21. Scourby reads them, but the pages doesn't turn so I can read along. Does it matter? I don't know about others, but for me: Yes. I need to see it, too. I don't want to question the reading when my eyes are closed. The spoken word is ok, but these days so much is 'said', and so much said is opinion or interpretation of God's Word. I need to SEE God's Word, too. My mind and heart are personally touched by His Spirit when I see and hear His Word. I was all the more excited about this channel BECAUSE the pages turn, allowing me to read along. Scourby's readings are world renown. But gaps or left out parts should not be acceptable in either the reading or the written Word. I pray someone sees this and takes it to heart.
