Scourge was once called tiny, the runt of his kittypet litter. He was treated horribly for being small. Rage overtook him and he ran to the forest, confronting Thistleclaw, Tigerpaw, and Bluefur. Tigerpaw nearly killed Tiny and Tiny wanted to take revenge. He went back to the forest and saw he had his collar on. He scraped his collar against dog teeth and they stuck there. Remembering the word Scourge, he changed his name to Scourge. He took revenge and made a clan of his own. Then he killed Tigerstar in the 9 eternal organs, which were his 9 lives gone. Ever since, Scourge has been leading Bloodclan. That's the true story of scourge

Really everyone do not take it to heart. It's not something completely directed toward you , but after all these heaps of people asking it can piss someone off. It's just like making a cake i'd say. Flour is in a form that can't change without adding things , and when you do it grows to something more. What I am trying to get all these hurt people to pinpoint is , after a few asking it is not so worthy to get frustrated over , but after much more people asking it's annoying as hell. So you shouldn't be parading around upset when answers are swirling around right in your face.

*Sigh* People, stop fussing about his collar colour!! In the manga "The Rise of Scourge" the American cover says his collar is purple, but the Chinese cover says it's red, and the Russian cover says it's brown. Erin Hunter specially said that it's up to her reader's imagination what her cat's markings, collars, etc.. looks like! (And I'm saying this because I saw some comments down below talking about his collar. :I)
