SCOUT DIKE RESERVOIR - Barnsley Trout Club

Scout Dike Reservoir, the home of Barnsley Trout Club for over 43 years, is off the A629 Huddersfield Road, just north of the pennine market town of Penistone. Look for the Barnsley Trout Club signs as you approach the Reservoir on the A629.
The reservoir is approximately 6 miles from the centre of Barnsley, 10 miles from the centres of Huddersfield and Sheffield and just three miles from the Peak District National Park.

Nicely flown and edited. Fabulous colours! I also enjoyed your selection of Schubert - a good match. As an aside - it's fun for me to see all the town names mentioned here. My mother was from Middleton but moved to Canada as a young woman after marrying my father, a Canadian soldier. These were all places I heard her talk about over the years.

Evening Mickey, ive noticed there are three other reservoirs in close proximity do they feed each other, i only ask because there are simular ones near Newcastle that feed each other, always a good watch with a great symphony to boot.👏👍👍.

Hi Steve. The whole group are known as the Inbirchworth Reservoirs and the upper reservoir overflows feed the lower Scout Dike. Glad you liked the video and the music mate. Much appreciated.
