That is some nice walnut. Pen makers would love it. My sons friend asked if I could make some muddlers for his wedding gifts for his groomsmen. I had to figure out what they were first. They are used to crush herbs like mint into drinks. I don't drink so it was new to me. I had picked up some walnut from the firewood pile that they had at a local gas station. I got a bundle of kiln dried 1 and 2" slabs of beautiful dark walnut similar to what you got. Counting the prototypes I ended up making about 30 all total. It was a fun project. The sprinkler is really nice. It is hard to find one that isn't all beat up.

I'm quite sure Chevy trucks used a bulb that was very similar to those 1154 bulbs you were showing, but undoubtedly were a 12 V bulb by the time I was driving. In 1982, I bought my first pickup truck as a high school kid, and it was a used 1977 Silverado. The bulb looked exactly like those, but if I can remember right, I think the number was an 1157. The pegs sticking out on the copper part were offset so the bulb could only go in one way, as to not mix up tail light, and brake light current. G.M. must have used bulbs like that for many decades.
@ScoutCrafterКүн бұрын
Ed You are spot on- Same bulb different voltages. Back in the day when you could change your bulb in a tail light for .59 cents…. Today it isn’t so easy. 🫣😂👍

This whole video is great, but I had to laugh at the sprinkler. My parents had one just like it in the 50's, It would crack and squirt water out in different locations, (all the wrong locations) and my dad would solder them up, It ended up being a Frankenstein sprinkler. The chances of throwing something out was not on the menu lol.
