Scouting for Invasive Lionfish and Finding High Numbers

TISIRI divers set out to scout deep natural bottom reef areas offshore north Florida to get an idea of invasive Lionfish concentrations. the amounts of Lionfish they encountered were the most the have seen off this coast as of yet. The scuba divers harvested some of the Lionfish specimens both via a pole spear and a Lionfish containment unit, as well as live capture method. The reef sites visited were natural live bottom sites in 95 feet of water.
