Viz winds and seas were terrible out in the Contents. Came back to Key West inflated the paddle boards and paddled south off the beach with all our lobster gear. Great visibility & ended up doing ok in 10-20 ft.

After watching this video and previous ones from your channel, I felt the necessity to go out on day one of mini season . We did so good that by 8:30 am we already had our limit. Only took 1/12 hour to accomplish the catch. I have a small channel on KZbin that I am trying to grow for my grandkids. They are the reason why I open it. My videos are not professional like yours, I don’t even have a GoPro or under water camera. I try to do my best with my phone. Hopefully one day in the near future, I go down and meet you in person. Great video. Jealous of those coral spots. I traveled by boat in 17 from Cape Coral with friends who live there for lobster. Seven of us. Not being local we were diving grassy fields with ledges and saw some but only came up with 14 keepers over two days.

For anyone willing to learn something the clacking/grinding noise you hear is coming from the boat shifting and it’s an unhealthy way to shift you round the teeth on the gears outboards are meant to shift in and out quickly this could save you thousands on a new lower unit

Aloha. Christmas in July? Most of my diving (Lanai) has been at night for lobster. No Spanish, just spiney and slipper. Still don’t understand why Floridians don’t dive at night, though I did watch yesterday’s video. Large moreys always bothered me more than sharks. Unless I was diving nor cal for abalone. Good luck!

That’s insane. We were out of jewfish basin and ran all the way west and we didn’t see anything stacked with lobster like that. You’re a magician for sure. Hope to see you before we leave. Was wearing your shirt today for good luck and it got to rough to stick it out on the south side so we hit north side and it got very rough on the gulf as well.

We scouted Tuesday and had such high hopes. Wednesday was completely different. The weather wasn't so good and the ocean was angry. Visibility was about 1 ft. in shallow areas. Content keys. Only caught 15
