I know they're not JUST punk, but in terms of that scene there are just SO many great bands right now. Scowl, Destroy Boys, Soul Glo, even Turnstile in the pop direction. This gen will be looked at in deep fondness.

I saw them when they were on tour with Show Me The Body (also Zulu and Jesus Piece, crazy lineup) and their set was amazing. Kat Moss has a perfect voice for live shows, I feel like studio releases don't capture how much depth her voice has. One of the best crowds and pits I've been around too, shoutout to Scowl 🖤

Hc-Punk band? They are playing this summer at the Primavera Sound (with Gel by the way), which is a fest promoted by Santander Bank, Cupra, Pull & Bear, Estrella Galicia... It is cool nowadays to have a punk-hc "attitude" and having songs like "Sould-out" and then selling-themselves-out playing in the most capitalistic music fest in Spain

Aren't they one of the only bands that has recently pulled out of festivals for ethical reasons? I'm thinking SXSW for example. Might not be them. Gatekeeping punk feels like bs 90% of the time. Being bigger isn't being a sellout. It gives a bigger platform to spread the sound and punk ethos.
