SCP-136 describes two phenomena. SCP-136-1 is of variable appearance, but generally manifests as a crude clay, wood, metal, or cloth doll, usually identifiable as female and usually between 10 and 30 cm in length. The doll appears as male in approximately 10% of viewings.
SCP 136 -2 manifests only when SCP-136-1 is viewed for approximately twenty (20) minutes, though like SCP-136-1, it has a somewhat variable form. The first indication of SCP-136-2’s presence is a sound of laughter of a gender corresponding to the appearance of SCP136 -1. Personnel who hear the laughter report it as sounding “creepy” or “scary.”
SCP-136-2, is an incorporeal nude or partially nude figure corresponding to the gender of SCP-136-1. SCP-136-2, ranging in size from 1.9 to 2.1 meters
The apparition has a very disturbing appearance. Its mouth is far too wide, frozen in a rictus of pain and arousal. It will occasionally bare its teeth or lick its lips. Its irises take up almost the entire sclera of its eyes, which appear mad and bloodshot. If female, it will have an absurdly narrow waist and large breasts. The experience of viewing SCP-136-2 is profoundly upsetting and has universally caused night terrors for up to six months in every single subject, possibly as a result of its psychic intrusion.

I love this scp, though I am curious why the doctor was so determined to make it keter. The doll itself is perfectly contained and while the entity is pretty free, it only affects those who have messed with the doll. So, as far as scps are concerned it seems pretty easy to contain

the thing about this scp is that its not as simple as it appears for its not clarified (or will ever be) if scp-136-2 is a "real" (real as in an actually existing entity,that predated the doll or was created at the same time the doll was "made") or just a psychological manifestation of its anomalous effects on human consciousness for the first case the observation could be attributed to a term called "selective perceptiblity" witch means some aspects of a entity or objects(or both as a whole) are only perceptible for those that have broken its veil of imperceptibly,this can be triggered by the entity choosing who can perceive it fully or partially how many others than the first one to experience it may largely vary in numbers and range objects can also poses this property but they usually have a different "behavior" such as requiring an action witch varies in type or method but once used would make its user automatically capable of perciving what they could not perceive before for better or worse such as scp-513 making scp-513-1 presence and actions perceptible to all those that were within a specific distance to hear the sound of the cowbell,making the victim feel extreme anxiety and fear before Scp-513-1 starts to haunt the victim and the stress of the haunting eventually causes the victim to expire eventuality due to neurological degeneration caused by sleep deprivation now back to scp-136 scp-136-2 aproach towards the caffeteria wasn't perceptible to anyone other than dr simon but it did not stop it from affecting the other staff in said cafeteria and dr simon state after the others woke up shows were the true danger of such *ability* lies it(scp-136-1&-2) was never *seen* breaching containment,but just because it wasn't observed does not mean it did not happen before,nor does it mean it will not happen again (it could be happening right now as you are reading this but you cannot perceive it) just because you can't perceive it does not mean in can't *perceive you* *and those around you*

This SCP actually reminds me of 513. Both are innocuous objects that activate when touched/observed, and summon a human-shaped but wrong entity. Neither entity seems to directly kill their prey, but instead drive them to insanity and death by causes they influence. I wonder if they're connected?
