For what it's worth, I think that Joe will be happy when he's caught and locked up. At last, at long, long last, someone has noticed him and is treating him as something other than... *nobody* . FWIW, I personally think that SCP1504 and other 'amnesiac' anomalies may be synthetic in nature. Intelligent and aware enough to have a sense of 'I am...' but having never had the right social influences and other experiences to answer the question of *who* they are.

People may say other scps also have this invincibility, but they have reason to there immortality, saying they can die if you do it right. But mr. Joe just has it straight forward. Hes invincible. Maybe - I think it’s more likely that he got loose multiple times, from the time the anomalies at the facility started happening, and caused them all himself. No one realizes this or remembers, because he is so unmemorable. He could have taken access cards, wandered around and learned by watching personnel how the doors in the facility worked, and then he could do anything. I think the “anomalies” were all caused by his attempts to be noticed, becoming more and more drastic. One thing about his abilities seems (to me) to be - the more time he spends in a single location, the less memorable he is. Maybe it’s also based on proximity to his location. The guards would have been more susceptible than the researcher since they were patrolling the halls, closer to his cell. Maybe also based on how much interaction you have with him? The researcher had spent the most time with him, and so had more memories of him, which were retained, and he was able to piece together his theory and write it down and safeguard it. Just my first thoughts and impressions after watching the video & reading your comment. I bet there are more ways to try to explain him, which is part of why he’s so intriguing to me.

So he causes electronic systems to malfunction when he is nearby, and finding him is very hard as everyone ignores his appearance as if he was wearing a certain tweed newsboy cap (makes me wonder if he was the original owner of that SCP, as its effects are said to be able to "wear off onto the user permanently" if worn for too long at once). Call me a weeb, but this reminds me of something from an anime I watched, namely "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" (just hear me out). The main characters operated robots (the Gundams), which, in this series of the franchise, used a type of exotic matter with negative mass generated from their engines (GN Particles) to perform various feats that other machines simply could not match, some of which include flight via antigravity (remember, negative mass) and electromagnetic systems jamming, as their exotic matter also blocked out/cancelled out radiowaves, making detection by radar next to impossible. The Gundam pilots' adversaries (namely Russian Commander Sergei Smirnov) figured this radar jamming ability out, and set up a trap of sorts to stalk the Gundams as they flew. He had various radar and radio systems around the world activate all at once. If a series of towers, routers, and phones all fail in a given area in an unexplained way over a short amount of time, and the failures seem to point in either a series of lines, or a straight line instead of random clusters, it might indicate that the sources of these failures is the same person/object/entity. This could be useful for finding SCP-1504, or any other kind of anomaly that causes electrical systems failures, or disruptions to electromagnetic communications or radar arrays. Hmm... I'm curious about something, now that I think of it: remember how I said that the Foundation should deploy devices that can send and receive remote signals at a higher strength than usual, and I listed WiFi routers, cell phones, and cell phone towers as examples? Well, perhaps the Foundation and I had the same idea for finding SCP-1504; _we did all just switch over to 5G for seemingly no reason recently, and even though it's been so recent, some are already talking about 6G and there seems to not really be much of a reason as to why..._

As a researcher I propose the following; Clearly we can understand him better after running his interviews through perceptions cleaners, and he seems to be in great psychological distress. His hostility to the foundation and life seems to be due to his anomalous properties. Therefore we should host more interviews with him, explaining we can now communicate with him without ignoring him, however it'd have to be separated by filters during recordings. Basic communication and interactions like so will help ease the entity's psychological stressors, allowing him to both calm down and embrace our help. He doesn't want to come back to us unless we can help him. So now we propose in public spaces to help him, and he can work for us as a researcher, after we expose him to the history rewriting scp.

People keep feeling sorry for this guy and talking about how bad he has it, and he does, but they forget the comment about killing close family. In the original story it was more specific. There 1504 claimed he could force a man's wife and kill her and he wouldn't even notice. 1504 wasn't taking a wild guess there, he new EXACTLY how that would go because he has tried it. That's what makes him so dangerous. He has tried everything to get a thrill or just get noticed, from stealing a car or just walking into someone's house and taking over. Hell, even here he started slowly letting out the SCP's from containment one by one to try and get attention until he got frustrated and just let them ALL out at once and that was AFTER he personally murdered half the staff. 1504 is an unkillable, potentially immortal because we don't actually know how old he is, unnoticeable human being that is suffering from both suicidal depression and malignant narcissism do to the fact that he is living in a consequence free world populated by what are essentially NPC's from his perspective. Just think about all the things we do in games and you have an idea how scary this guy being loose really is.

There's a really weird separation in the story. 4 lvl 3 personnel are to guard the room of scp 1504 and have keycards of that level only unlocking when used at the same time... But moments later, the locks are not digital rather, they are mechanical locks. How do keycards and opening it at the same time matter? Scp1504 can destroy electronic systems Then the story started saying "further tests are being conducted" but the story specifically said that they currently do not have scp1504 in the site. They only have predicted measures for when scp1504 was recontained. How'd they know that a specific gas can neutralize it? They only had the dude once, and that site was nuked by a fail-safe. All documentations of scp1504 was told to us, is nowhere to be seen. Only the interview video and hand written note in a safe/vault was the surviving records of scp1504. There are many pieces not falling into place just yet. But I do like the concept of this scp. The story could use peer to peer reviews so the story writer can spot out the same inconsistencies as I have.

Also, I think because the doctor interacted with him the most, he had the most memories of him, and so somehow he was able to retain them and piece together his theory, write it down and safeguard it. I also suspect that he may have also, after his initial contact, been in least proximity to him, at least compared to the guards who would be patrolling the halls constantly, and going near his cell on a regular basis. I have this idea because of how the Foundation started forgetting about the facility - stopped sending supplies, ignored requests for more personnel. I think the longer Joe stays in one place, his anomaly starts to affect the people and location around him in the minds of others. So somehow, proximity to him and amount of direct interaction with him play a part to how unmemorable he is (and those around him too).
