SCP-745 is a bipedal nocturnal predator capable of producing a steady output of light from its head. At night, this gives the appearance of a floating point of light. SCP 745 hunts in pairs along remote sections of highway, taking the appearance of the headlights on a fast moving vehicle. SCP745 targets lone vehicles on the highway, and hunting pairs will attempt to run the driver off the road by pursuing or charging their target.

I remember this was the first SCP I came across, years ago. It was through some image that had a bunch of facts about the creature on it. I once had a tailgater riding the back of my truck one night going through the southern desert. Very obnoxious too. He kept chirping and flashing these red and blue lights at me. Then he gets on a PA speaker and says “ Driver, pull over immediately when safe to do so”. I mean if I wasn’t going fast enough and he wanted to pass all he had to do was cross into the opposing lane, no one was coming the other way.

8:30 finally a happy ending. Why i like this is because other SCP stories comes of as trying to be more important or even trying make stakes higher and higher. This is more grounded reality and is also contained (highlights the success of SCP foundation).
