I'm really sorry to hear that, but I don't think it's possible to us (at least for that project) :c The production and all other expenses are also in USD, and our current goal don't even cover them all. We cannot afford to cut the prices. Also, creating perks at different prices leave a lot of space for fraud, since there's no proper mechanism on IndieGoGo that would allow to set prices for each country separately. People can start taking the cheapest perk regardless their state (and I would have to decline their contributions manually and ask each one not to do so) or ask their friends from other countries to buy the book for them at a lower price. I'm sorry :(

Ughh, the whole issue with Duksin was really disgusting and unethical (and scary to me personally, since he actually found a loophole in the copyright law, and everything could have been MUCH worse now if fans didn't notice and stopped him on time) The SCP Foundation is such a unique and great project EXACTLY because it doesn't belong to anyone. Hi! All backers regardless the day of their contribution will get all the stretch goal rewards that we manage to unblock. Example: Let's say, we gained $230.000 by the end of the campaign. Each backer who ordered such perks as "Limited Edition - First Book", "Regular Edition - All Books", "Early Birds", "Limited Edition - All Books" or "Hall of Fame" will get the book(s) they ordered, as well as a holographic iron on patch, a sticker pack, a badge with lanyard, an A3 poster and a pack of laboratory photos (all bonuses are ABSOLUTELY free and backers don't need to pay additionally to get them). Thanks! We were (and are) going to publish the books anyway, but wasn't sure if we could reach $250.000 at that time. And If we decided to go with a "fixed" goal and then failed to reach it, IndieGoGo would just refund our backers leaving them with wasted time and disappointment and us with empty pockets. With flexible goal we can be confident that we will cover at least some of the money spent on illustrations, designing, printing, promotion, developing an app for AR dust jackets (most of these costs had occurred even before the campaign started) and that our limited edition won't go to waste and finds its reader no matter what :)

Yes, we guarantee the receipt! And if anything happens to the package during its delivery, we will send you a replacement. We have already sent an advance payment to the printing house, bought rights for illustrations, ordered merch for stretch goal reward, rented a place in ShipBob’s warehouse and commissioned their packaging and delivery services. We have neither intention, nor interest in vanishing with the money. We want to build a proper publishing house in the US and publish many more books :)

We discussed the materials a lot with our printing partner and chose the best options (even made them order a leather-imitating material of specific colors that weren't in stock, just for our books). Hi! The limited-edition books (with AR dust jackets and a slipcase) can be obtained ONLY within this campaign. However, you will be able to buy regular-edition books on Amazon and at some bookshops after the campaign ends! There will be all the logs, too, not just the articles! All properly stylized and beautifully integrated in the main text :) Sadly, there will be no SCP-610 or any of the SCP-001 proposals (at least we don't have any illustrations for them right now), but there will be many others! Actually there are more than 150 SCPs in total (in 3 books). If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, don't be shy!

It's completely okay! Everyone has their own reasons and circumstances :) The books are going to be sold later on Amazon too, for sure. Also, we will try to make a deal with several book chain stores and comic book shops. Hopefully, at least some of them will be interested, and you can look at the physical copy before buying it.

Question: I know there's the perk for large chain of book stores and such, but you guy intend to keep selling those books even after the campaign has finished in webpages like Amazon?

Yes! 1) There's no guarantee the perk is going to be claimed, so we can't count on it too much. 2) There is only one perk for one chain. Imagine a perk is claimed by some Indian bookstore, for example. And they won't deliver the books to other countries (or the delivery will cost a lot). More shops and places to sell means more opportunities for people from all around the world!

Please also note that on Amazon and at other places we are going to sell only regular-edition books as separate volumes. And that chain would sell only limited-edition books in sets! So those are different niches.

Hopefully, some of them will be interested in selling our books! Of course, we will announce our partnership as long as we have one (so that people know where to search for our books)
