@@perch296 definitely not 096, this music plays almost exclusively in the light containment zone while 096 is virtually always in heavy containment zone, however you could argue it isn't really 173s music as he is probably equally or even more common in the heavy containment zone than the light containment, early game though, it is very much the music of 173. Another thing is that 096 actually doesn't affect the game that much, he isn't particularly a massive threat most of the time as you hear his crying from far away and can easily look down, the only time he poses a theat really is if you don't hear the crying or if your in the maintenance room (or if your in SCP containment breach VR when he's very difficult not to look at)

One thing that I still think about is: why did 173 not kill you when you were in the containment chamber as the lights went out? Everyone else but you died. 173 is sentient that much is certain, but it would never think twice before eradicating a living thing. You should have died the moment the lights went out yet you didn't. Does 173 know that if it tried it wouldn't work? Does 173 know about the player's (D9341's) immortality?

Well, the other Class-D might have flinched when the lights went out, possibly looking away from 173, and it might be possible the player loses sight of 173 when the lights go out. 173 kills the person closest to it. The player could have been lucky and looked fast enough and as long as the player is directly looking at it, 173 will not move. Even in the dark.

As the sound of gunfire, blaring alarms and screaming staff members slowly goes quiet, you begin to creep out of 173s chamber. Taking a quick glance at the two dead inmates next to you, you get out of a crouching position , rushing out of the room and down the stairs at the catwalk. Running past a weird black puddle that you just briefly take note of, you open the first sliding door ahead of you, seeing an octagonal room with tall, white concrete walls. There are pipes attached to the opposite wall, and one door on each side. Not a trace of the security guard or the scientists that you just saw beneath the catwalk. Maybe they ran off to some kind of emergency exit or went to some sort of evacuation point, but not you. You have no clue of what this place is, and just a minute ago you were in your cell, reading the weird cryptic "Class D orientation leaflet". And now you are here, in a huge, seemingly underground facility, with no idea of where to go or what awaits you in the next room, completely left behind by the staff that does not seem to care about you at. This panic-inducing realization hits you with another adrenaline rush, and you randomly open the left door, running off into the hallways. The maze of tall, bleached and moldy concrete walls quickly swallows you up, and you already do not know which direction you are heading or which way you came from. You run past caged doors with Maintenance elevators behind them, a Rusty fan built into the wall suddenly turns on, making you jump a little. You catch sight of a moving person, no doubt that it is a guard. You run after him, trying to press out a cry for help from your dry throat. Just as you reach the security agent, he steps into an elevator, and the squeaky metal doors slam shut infront of you. You mash the button in panic, trying to understand why he would leave you behind like that. Catching your breath after all the running, you back up from the door. Suddenly, it slides open again. The elevator is still on the same floor, but instead of the guard, you see a blood-stained crack in the floor. The elevator button inside is sparking. Before you have the time to comprehend what happened to the guard, a gooey deformed hand emerges from the floor. Whatever was killing the scientists on the upper floors mere mintues ago has finally found its way to you...
