Some things to clear up: I took an 8 month break between this video and the last one This is some new added content, I have a lot more stuff it is just prototype content or inaccessible via the main game The inventory system only supports the first slot currently and I plan on copying and pasting the code for the first slot to the other ones after every item has a programmed function in the game. I have absolutely no idea why it put the keycard on the second slot I assume its because I went through 970 and the game thought I got the strange note when in reality I didn't (cause that's also in the game too) and then the reason it was on my third slot after I died was because the data wasn't reset, that's a bug that has been occurring during development. Remember, nothing here is final I have yet to decorate a lot of the rooms and the game is not very polished. I have done my part in fixing dozens of bugs but the inventory because it was the first system I had implemented in the game and I wasn't that experienced in UE5 as I am now it is not a very modular nor good system, I am not going to rewrite the code for it cause if I did I would have to spend dozens of hours again due to the way it is implemented, I will do my best to fix every bug I notice during development on the inventory system but until then both you and I get to experience the true horrors of this game, the code and the constant bugs 👍
