35:48 You actually spawn with Red NightVision so no need to “squint like a bug” I think default equip button is N but just look at the settings. Also I was also majorly disappointed that the AI companions at the start get destroyed in the first couple of minutes as then it turned, for me at least, into Scp containment breach with extra shooty shooty but, it is free so no harm really. Glad your back :)

Thanks! I'll mess around with it and see if it helps my barcode scanner eyes :) I think that's a fair assessment. It's still ye olde game with ye newe guns... I just know that, because development is in such baby stages, we're very likely to see our soldiers again in newer updates. I mean how cool would it be if we had to pull them out of the Pocket Dimension!? Anyway, I'm on a tangent now... Thank you for your comment :D

I've spawned the ai ntf and tested their ai and they'll probably return, anything the player can kill ntf kill, they attack 939 only if they attack you, and they search around the area to search for more enemies after they kill someone, and 173 can kill them

A crowbar, a D-Class survivor of a horrible event orchestrated by outside forces running around collecting things and potentially causing havoc, an NTF Operative trying to clean things up and a man who can disappear and reappear at will. Might not be exactly the same, but this mod gives me heavy Half-Life: Opposing Forces vibes and I'm okay with that.

Containment Breach is kinda still keeping up. I have heard that there is an update that's coming. Thing is, the process is rather slow. Like, *very* slow.

I love this mods approach to cutscenes and to some extent, a tutorial. Rather than locking you into a scripted environment where you have no real control, the mod allows you to go at your own pace, starting you off in a safe environment to work things out and figure out what does what. It's very Half-Life and I dig it.

The elevator scene shoulda had a line mentioning that stairs were never in the facility because "fire safety was ruled as a non-priority by the 0-5 council due to budget" or something. A bit if dark humor and helps sell how fucked up the scp foundation is.

Absolutely love the reference at 5:24! As someone who is both an SCP fanatic, and a Valve fanatic, I instantly respect someone who quotes the Portal 1 curiosity core. It makes me so happy when anyone references my favourite games like that. And if you ever have nothing else to play for a video, know that at least one fan of yours will be ecstatic to have you play anything like Portal, Half-Life 2, or anything else running in the Source Engine.

the mod is very good, but it has two negative points about them, the first one I think these two NTFS were very good but the problem is that they didn't know how to take advantage of them, because practically they are only there to accompany you and die soon and then, but I think cool and that each of them has its own personality i really wish one of them was alive and they finally added a new MTF class, the second one is that they didn't even put a mission in the game so it's practically infinite and it also leaves you sick of the game, I partially think that in the future they will paste some objectives for the game or even make a campaign mode, because I left the game a long time ago

I love this mod, not only does it expand the gameplay from Containment breach but also the scenarios feel more alive, like it's an actual functional facility where people worked in them, like the X laboratories from STALKER, unlike Containment breach's vanilla facility wich just feels like a bunch of halls and corridors taped together with some rooms containing other stuff like containment rooms, but in the NTF mod the facility is like, real, you have server rooms, armories, water pump stations, sewers (i think), large offices (compared to CB's small, one corridor long, offices), etc. Not saying CB is bad but it feels bland compared to this.

The game runs at 100-200 fps on my GTX 750, so it is optimized very well. Just the one location is very laggy (20 fps), that one you get to after meeting 106.

Haha, I remember playing BadCo2's campaign and listening to Sarge and Haggard bullshit about the most random stuff. The BC games were fun. And nice to see a playthrough. While the whole "lose your squadmates" thing just feels shoehorned in to make you have to regain your gear, it's still impressive they've gotten all this to work on this decades old engine.

Crazy theory: Since we can respawn in the default game as D-9341, maybe by some fucking miracle he was after the events at Site-19 recruited into either a penal battalion or the MTF Unit because the respawn mechanic works in the mod too, however this is not Site-19, this could be another site / area of the SCP Foundation.
