Does this come with music Bluetooth? At the moment my F56 2016 SD only has AUX/USB and Call-Only Bluetooth - Would this allow a media bluetooth connection to my android phone?

Yes, this unit will allow a standard Bluetooth media connection.

If my F56 does not have a factory iDrive control knob, will this still work? Do I need to purchase a new center trim console to fit the aftermarket idrive knob? Any additional wiring?

The installation of an iDrive controller is not necessary, since the device is designed to be used via touch screen. However, if you have the coin slot cutout already installed in your centre console trim, then you can install an iDrive controller. If your system requires the NBT headunit, we provide an iDrive controller with all of the necessary wiring to install this.

No, this display upgrade doesn’t support the MOST connector.

Since this product is not compatible with Harman Kardon, you may experience no audio from any source, due to a difference in the connections.

Do you have any social media page where I can share some pictures. What I did is, I tried to replace mini 2016 display with mini 2018 one. Everything is connected, just that little black wire done there has 6 pins in the new one and the there is a slot for connecting the display to the car but my car doesn’t has any options.

Very interested ! Is there a video showing it in action ? To see if it's laggy or not. Is it compatible with the original microphone if mini is already equipped with Bluetooth? Does steering wheel controls works? Does led ring still works ? Do we still have access to original menus of the basic radio ?

Our new video function guide can answer some of these questions: • The video linked above shows how smooth the transitions are for this headunit. • Steering wheel spoke controls such as volume up and down, are compatible with the headunit. • The microphone provided to use with this display, is the only microphone that the display will recognise. • The headunit retains all access to original MINI settings, these can be accessed in the “Car Settings” application. Regarding the other question not answered by our current videos. We do have another guide coming soon which will answer the question for the Excitement Package LED Ring. We hope this helps :)

We're glad to hear that your display has arrived. The tools are not included at the time of writing this message. However, we are working to find a tool set for this to help with the installation. The main tools required are a T20 Torx Screwdriver and a trim removal tool, which can be found at most hardware stores or online.

@@trzeciakwojtek hey, yes same unit and it worked perfectly. The only downside that I have noticed is with the time. It always resets to China time zone. It only corrects once it’s connected to your CarPlay. Other than it’s awesome in my opinion. Also brings a screen protector already installed which is a good detail

@@trzeciakwojtek not sure what phone you have(android/iPhone), but I have an iPhone and it works flawlessly. So If the clock thing doesn’t bother you, then yes I would recommend it 👍
