18:52 The dispatcher actually did it good, he dispatched you at yellow, but just a train came in the station and turned the signal red. So no, it wasn't the dispatcher's fault.

I think the reason they didn't allow other trains on the route is because the shuttle is kind of a new route/scheme type thing and it's like built for the 345.. that sounded a lot better in my head lol

20:32, well, these server crashes were caused by StreamingEnabled, which supposedly reduces lag, but it causes alot of problems

[First comment ]QwertyAfro the reason why the class 345 is 4500 points,it is because the developers didn't want everybody to get this train straight away,if it was cheap every Class 345 would be backuped.Thats why it's so expensive.

i was hoping you'd be able to avoid the curse of the server crash. as for other units running the shuttle thats likely not gonna happen as the 345 has been gifted with a specially branded airlink livery. i'm not sure if you noticed cause you never pointed it out, but on a normal train next to the A it says Airlink, for this unit it says shuttle with then "An Airlink Service" written along the side. Maybe other shuttle type routes could be added but only time can tell

Yh was quite bad the first few days, Yh did see it’s a specific livery for the shuttle. Maybe in the far future a normal variant can be done and access to all the other airlink routes.

How do you go about becoming a driver in real life? Would you say it is better to go for it straight away or already get yourself into the train/public transport 'industry' before doing so?

Either way is fine but having some experience with emergency situations/high responsibility jobs is very useful if you don’t have any railway experience. Getting in the transport industry is never a bad idea to get that first hand experience and feel for the general ecosystem. Then again I just went straight from uni to it so it can be done!

@@idkbro9777 try become a csa with any toc near you. stay in the job for a while and get the experience, then you can use that to go higher up. i know that tfl does situation awareness based scenarios so everyone else applying is as clueless as you are, you just gotta work your brain hard lol
