After months without :watch and having to respawn as a passenger to investigate everything, I am most excited for the cameras. Thank you for filling in that gap and for everything else you have done to improve the system. I look forward to learning and using it once it rolls out. The responsiveness of the director, developer, and manager teams is one of the best things about the SCR community, and I greatly appreciate the commitment all of you have to our community. Once again, thank you for all you have done. Edit: I should have watched the entire video before commenting. Cameras are only my second biggest excitement. The actual thing I'm most excited for is the TRTS indicators for off-screen platforms. If we click them, will they take us to the platform they're pointing to?

Love it! Only suggestion would be to add a shaded background for either the controlled area or the uncontrolled area to make the difference discrete. If anything else, consider having a way to increase the signal size, as it seems quite small if you are attempting to signal with a larger pan. Well done!

Hey bantech appreciating your effort, been a fan of scr since 1.6.4. A new mechanic I always wanted is weather and train customisations. The train customisations could be minor changes such as better braking. Weather could also add more realism in the game, as opportunities for functions like snow tires are more uhh... visible. As a former signaller, Roblox name: vladbods, I think this new signalling system is very useful and cool. Can’t wait to see it in game and use it on my vip or when I will become a signaller again. Good job BanTech, this can be probably the best thing you’ve ever done for SCR.

I think having some sort of mechanism integrated into the desk that changes the platform starting signals and junction signals to danger when the signaller first sits down at the desk would be a huge asset, as it would pretty much eliminate the minute or two of chaos as the desk is set up manually.

Suggestion: add a smart way to "pre-set" signals. Right now if you press control+3 on a danger locked signal it will change to green automatically when it comes out of danger lock, additionally, pressing control+1 will prevent a signal that automatically changes to green from doing so, keeping it at danger even if the next block is clear. This is currently possible but it doesn't seem like it is an intended mechanic and you can't do it without using the hot keys, so it would be nice to give each signal the option to "pre-set" and maybe even an option to manually switch signals between auto-clearing and remaining at danger.

Just a small feature: A way of telling a dispatcher that the selected train has a guard (random players in guard role being jerks) A way of telling a guard that the platform his train is on has allocated a dispatcher (Ik you may say it is unnecessary, but it is a nice thing to have, especially the first one) Bonus: Adding a working train loading bar into the guard menu, to show the train loading "progress" (same as in driver's gui, but of course smaller) instead of just saying "Passengers loading". but the main problem is- that signallers want a desk and there are more than 1 and the signalling desk is taken and it will be a rush hour. What will happen then??

They only have one while they're developing so they can change one thing instead of changing a bunch of things as they add features and fix bugs. There won't be as many desks as there currently are, but considering that there are rarely more than two people signalling at once, I doubt it'll be much of an issue.

A SG here! Here is a suggestion. Could we get red lines at the location of trains so it’s easier to see where they are in the block? They don’t just show that a train is in a block but they show what part of the block (in the case of the stepford city triangle).

rip bantech. it's so difficult to make train block system exact like in SimSig. Count how many signals in SCR and minus about 30 - that's how much blocks he will have to script correctly + junction blocks are not working like in simsig - if train is after signal on junction - then all signals in this block will be locked at danger - no matter will trains collide depends on their routes or not. Idea is cool, but unf. it'll take a lot of special time for scripting this.

I have been looking forward to this large signalling update (and mobile support, of course), the system is more advanced, you can now see multiple train infos at once, with CCTV and status indicators. I’m getting my new laptop soon, I’ll get some trainings for the new system when it get released. Some info I’d like to give out, would be minor but here: - Change column title “ID” on Full Train Info to Headcode to avoid confusion with train IDs, since it’s not the train ID that gets displayed - Is keybinds kept? It seems that shortcut keys are helpful but it wasn’t shown in video so I wonder about that.

There will still be keybinds. They may be different to the current one but I'll make sure to have a handy reference for all of them. ID was used as some real-life systems here use the term ID for headcode. Headcode doesn't fit in that space and it would look weird to have a massively wide column or much smaller text than the other headings. I'll see if Signallers would like some sort of abbreviation like HC or something. H.Code is also a bit long but that's what we have on the current ones

Suggestion: for signallers, when signalling for trains approaching, for example Llyn-by-the-sea, the signaller can choose what platform the train arrives in to.

Minor nitpick, but on the Platform Allocations screen, could it be possible to implement a dropdown-list system for each station, which reveals each platform (similar to what is happening with the additional info for each platform)? A visual ping could be added adjacent to the station name when a train arrives at it, and the signaller could expand the list if they wanted to know more. It would save a lot of space on the screen overall, and less scrolling would need to be done.

This looks absolutely fantastic! As a signaler this is going to be revolutionary for the role. My one suggestion is that it would be nice in CCTV mode to be able to change the signal while in CCTV mode, rather than having to switch back to the main screen. For ex, if for whatever reason the signal system isn’t showing a train is waiting in a block and it’s holding short of a danger aspect, then you can see the train, change the signal, and ensure the train gets the clear aspect and departs. But it’s a fantastic system and I love the amount of feedback you guys have taken from us to make it a useful and intuitive system.

This does look very nice, but you could introduce clickable headings for Platform Allocations (Already suggested by tomato planet) AND for the train list. So like you could click for example the Delay header and then it would go onto the first/next stage Stages for the delay headings: Stage 1: Latest Train at the Top and On Time Trains at the bottom Stage 2: Stage 1 but swapped Stage 3: Normal, like was before Stage 1.

Add a rules system also so that signallers can input the rules to a panel and anybody driving/guarding/dispatching in this area get to know the rules such as SPADing will get the train despawned

The only issue about the signal is that the AWS ramp is far too close to the previous signal the AWS ramp is meant to be 500 yards from the next signal it’s self but everything else is fine

At train stations where I live, they have a single computer screen with a diagram of the track of that and the local stations. This is for staff of the station. Could we get these for dispatchers, guards, signallers and SV’s at the stations?

Bantech I think in the menu under 20p teleporter maybe add a teleport to older parts of the game since 1.7 is now out we can make a tab for 1.6 in the menu and benton is bugged on xbox PLS fix it only the edge of the platform is there and you can go through it

Hi, I'm just letting you know that I've failed to pass GD training because they said that I took too long to open the doors, but I was being careful and my pc was lagging. Is there a way to let people have a practise or to give them a little longer in the first part of the journey? There is so much to remember and I really wanted to get it right. I'm so disappointed that I got booted out so quickly for being careful.

I noticed that the desk was relabelled Zone A. I take it that the desks will not be named 1A, 2A, 1B, 2B, etc anymore and will all be named after the letter corresponding to their zone.

Correct - the numbers and letters corresponded to the row and column of the main board - it will be different shaped and sized zones now so the numbers wouldn't make any sense at all

Bantech can you add new stations new trains and new routes? Like the station names I given are: Stepford city, Stepford Hq, Stepford hotels, Benton cinnima and Lynn by the town and add extension to James street the waterline service. And do express service from willow field or from Stepford Victoria or from Airport central to Lynn by the town or Lynn by the sea. Lots of people I think want waterline to Stepford city. And that is it I think I might come back for more ideas for you to build.Have a nice day:)

Suggestion, If you do add the supervisors tablets for viewing of train positions. could you also add small screens for Station dispatchers so they can also look at what trains are approaching and in what order so that dispatchers can also plan ahead. Certainly GTR operated stations has a screen on a platform showing CCF or Open train times for the platform staff to use to coordinate themselves.

Hi. Create a trigger to make drivers stop at the buffer in SC, many people ignore this. and also limit the speed as in LBTS (15 mph)

If people don't understand that next station is end of line - it's their problems. Unfortunatel I saw an express from depot who crashed into SC buffer at max speed. This is thing people should care. You have to be trained to not overshot stop signs and crash into buffer.
