SCR System Fault explained. Volvo 2019. Fast and to the point.

60 180 run time. Will keep running fine.even after N and park once the 180 mi utrs are done. Until thw truck is shutoff.

You said if you shut the truck off it will be locked at 5mph!! You should have said leave it in neutral and pull trailer brake! As soon as I pulled the truck brake to fuel it went to 5mph!!! Edit: also check if your battery are leaking. Mine was and ate up the wire for communication. That's all that was causing my issues

100% correct. Too late for me though...lol. I ran out of minutes and shut the engine off. Now I'm at derate, disconnected the speed sensor and driving with less power and limited speed. I don't know if I'm causing any damages under the hood.

You need to clean your DPF filter and maybe change your Doser valve, it’s probably clogged. I did this two fixing on my truck and no more problems.

Is it ok to put it in park and pull truck brake ? I'm assuming long as you keep truck on it won't limit speed unless you turn it off!

That worked for me for awhile, but eventually went into 5 mph defrayed. I applied the trailer brake only and left the truck running.

@@theboringchannel1944 I think I made it a couple hours driving in the initial derated mode that limits your turbo to 25% and your rpm's to 1400. Had to stop to use a rest room for 10 minutes came out and it was derated to 5mph. You can unplug the speed sensor on the transmission and drive indefinitely in severely derated mode, but it will barely go 54 on a flat road.

@@Coronado-nz7wu thank you brother. I was driving with unplugged speed sensor when message changed to 5 miles/hr at "next stop". I stopped at the very first rest area and connected the speed sensor back WITHOUT SHUTTING OFF the engine. It drove at the lower rpms again for like 10 min and as I was getting disappointed, the power came back to normal. Now I'm driving at full power for last 3 hours. My only concern now is that as I have to cross border tomorrow morning into Canada, I'll have to shit it off at immigration window and I fear it will go back to derate mode again. Anyway it's always nice to share our experiences. It helps alot.

Once the derate gives you a warning , don’t shut the truck off or use the yellow truck brake , use trailer park only and you still can easily finish your trip

Hi bud I used to work with LTL and the shop took care of it. Def systems to be honest is a scam. The DEF system is a pain.
