Can't thank you enough for sharing these eps again. I haven't seen many of them, so I can spend my long weekend binge watching. Looking forward to more!!

This is being back man when I missed school sometimes from being sick or whatever.. I was 5 or 6 when these episodes aired & just hearing the music & seeing the scrabble set again is giving me a nice warm feeling ❤

Thanks for reposting these. The episodes are sourced from Christopher’s “SCR” collection, the first 125 or so episodes were from 1995 USA Network reruns of January-September 1989 right up to when their game show block was axed and then the remaining 42 were a mix of episodes from earlier in the show’s run along with the pilot, a few 1993 episodes and I think the final week of the original run in March 1990 I forgot if Christopher’s run was consecutive or if there were gaps along the way for that 1989 run? I know there was no show on Jan 20/89 as it was the day of the POTUS 41 inauguration

Thanks for putting so much Scrabble online, enjoying it very much. It will probably never re-air, with the copyright and all.

Yeah a lot of these Reg Grundy game shows are all tied in rights snafus, and that SUCKS. Buzzr should have begun airing this years ago. I was eight when this episode aired, and I have such fond memories of watching this and a myriad of other game shows, especially that weekday hours long game show block that USA Network used to air in the summers in the early/mid ‘90s.

How the hell did she get the first word from the bonus sprint with no letters

As you watch a few of these, you’ll notice there’s a good amount of wordplay using people’s names. This is one example.

Yeah this one was pretty straightforward IMO, especially for that era as she was the lead actress on a sitcom on the same network.

1989 introduced us to two California women with high talking voices but have deep vocals when they sing: Scrabble champ Annie Banfield and Michel'le.

@thechadmosher Hi Chad! I had been watching your Scrabble episodes daily but there used to be a lot more episodes on your channel than there are now. Will those be reuploaded? Just curious..as this was my favorite game show in the 80s along with TPIR and Sale! Thanks so much!

how weird they were getting married since both were contestants. Kind of think it might be against some rules somewhere-- maybe

I love how Annie sounds a little if not entirely like voiceover Sandy Fox.

Hi! This is Annie from the show! I did voiceovers here in San Diego but never made it big. I’ll have to look up Sandy Fox
@patrickmichael33847 ай бұрын
@@anniebearpbp hello Annie. I think you’d enjoy Sandy Fox (even your voice wasn’t as high as hers is). You should look her up by typing “Sandy Fox Voice Actor”. You can’t miss it. Also, play back this and the other Scrabble you were on and whichever Sandy Fox voice video back to back and compare. You might have some fun doing so.

Whoa, so cool that the actual contestant replied! I watched the next episode as well when you did the fairy godmother voice. Between that voice over and your singing, I was pretty blown away! Quite a vocal range and I’m surprised you never exploded! Really impressive.
