Haha, I've got 33,600 right now. Most I've had was £37,000 before I spent like 5000 of them unlocking all of the tiles. I was able to get so many gems by playing and winning the all the 'progressive' events that used to exist, which I mastered and were the best part of the game. The more you played them, the more gems you win if you win at it in the end. There was like 6 of these events a week I think and I could win about 1000 gems each time if really competitive group. They were so fun and competitive. But I raked up quite the gem count here. I suppose they scrapped it when they saw my gem count and realised I have over £500 of gems for free, and can't have that, must be more like me, which thee are. I've not seen them in months, think you've missed out on that. They need to come back. Something wrong with these timed games on Scrabble Go I start with 3 minutes but the timer runs out within less than a minute.

Maybe force-stop the app and clear cache and it will fix it. I've had it end a few seconds early sometimes, but not like that.

@@MrWafters76 Well just earlier on I did have the game totally crash on me about 10 seconds into my go on the Alpine Rush event. Had to reload the game up, but I still managed to win the event somehow. I only got 94 points on one go as well. Don't know how I beat everyone else. Maybe they had it happen too. But yh, this has happened before to me, but is a rarity. Is just a glitchy piece of crap game. Fix one problem, it creates another..
