Glenmore Lodge instructor Derek Bain demonstrates a range of movement skills to help improve your scrambling. In this clip the focus is smearing. How would you recommend scrambling in snow/ice conditions? I will be climbing a mountain in Japan in about a month that may still have snow/ice near the summit where all the scrambling starts.
