Great haul!! On dryers if it dont have a cord most likely if a appliance dealer deliverys they take the old cord because it cant be used on the new dryer because of fire risk or they throw it away, Now on the homeowner side they might reuse the old cord on the new dryer and thats why it doset have one. but I agree 100% on all other appliances!! Have a great day!!! I sent you more pictures of my project!!

Inside a water heater is a tank with Galvanize coating on the outside , Any metals with galvanize coating is not considered as #1 steel. Water heaters have bb copper wires sliver contacts, brass and Copper. The heating elements some scrap yards will buy.
@ScrappingwithGrandpa Жыл бұрын
I sell heating elements. It is called dirty, stainless. Like the ones on stoves I always save my electric stove pieces. They are dirty, stainless.
@ScrappingwithGrandpa Жыл бұрын
I noticed they always separate hot water heaters at My yard. That’s good information. Thank you.
@nellomichi6416 Жыл бұрын
What is the inside of a water heater made of? The tank of a water heater consists of a steel outer jacket that encloses a pressure-tested water storage tank. This inner tank is made of high-quality steel with a vitreous glass or plastic layer bonded to the inside surface to prevent rusting

So on your previous video you said if worst case scenario to take the cords now you say don't take the cords. 😂
@ScrappingwithGrandpa Жыл бұрын
If you’re driving around, just cutting cords that is not a good thing. Save it for the Scrapper who picks up the machine. If you happen to be loaded or you cannot lift the piece into your truck take the cord. I’m not suggesting you take the cord and not the machine I’m just suggesting worst-case scenario if you can’t lift the item into your truck because you’re by yourself you might want to just take the cord. If you’re driving around, just cutting cords off of everything and leaving everything else I don’t like that that’s what I’m talking about.
