I did this exact set of upgrades for an article in Fusion, I have to say I was amazed by how good the parts from Retrosix are. It's transformed the GB into a system that I thoroughly enjoy all over again. Great work Mark.

Just looked at the retrosix store, sadly it's all well out of my range as a project on a device I'd use maybe once or twice a year. Great ide and appreciate the hard work that's gone in to it, but not for me at this stage sadly :0)

Yes, they are a premium product.
@markb40713 жыл бұрын
@@MarkFixesStuff totally agree, the way you showcased them certainly put that across. Can't justify over £140 to revive my old GB ( I'd want the LOT so i didn't risk my original case lol )

Loved the video but you missed the two screws that hold the back pcb to the shell that go thought the black holes on the left and right
@MarkFixesStuff3 жыл бұрын
Hiya Ricky! Thanks for watching. Do you mean at about 13:50? The round black holes are part of the cart slot and are already attached to the rear board, and the semi-circle black holes are screwed in from the back of the case. I don’t think I missed anything? Let me know if you have see anything other than those. I’m worried now hahah
@Rjoyce913 жыл бұрын
No at 13.54 you see the two holes not the semi circles on the side. there are meant to be two more screw the at goes though them. Nothing to worry about. Have a quick look at strip down and you will see what i mean
