I have two of the ATC dies just in case one stops working. I can’t thank you enough for designing this die. I love steel rule dies and the ATC was the die I was dying to get! It’s been a few year since it’s been out and retired so I got a good deal at an online store. This die is the die of all dies, simple but with the right measurements and cuts any material. I’m so thankful! Hope you make more steel rule dies!

Oh MY Gosh ! Here is Tim Holtz himself demonstrating how to use his Base Tray for movers and shaker steel rule dies. And guess what almost 10 years to the date the base tray is no longer available. It's been discontinued and or out of stock EVERYWHERE. I lost a bid on ebay for a used tray today. Then one in France Ebay was listed but despite showing the price and price to US there was no means to click and order despite the price was not all that bad. Meantime Amazon shows currently not available as does Sizzix site too. So I'm asking anyone who may have come up with a HACK for this product to please share here. I'm asking on just about any site I find it demonstrated today and a few are older videos than this one. I'm late to the game here. I just discovered all these wonderful fun stuff about Feb 11 ordering my first steel rule die sets from Spellbinders site. And then I was kind of hooked. But without the tray the smaller pieced dies called movers and shakers aren't so easy to manage or use. I am certain if I could get hold of at least one orginal tray I would be able to fashion one from scratch. But also can't help but wonder if they might work on a sheet of magnetic fabric you can make signs out of. Fashion some kind of framework to set around it to help support your cardstock or materials and set die in place on the magnetic mat then. Hard to know for sure without having actually seen and used one. I have 4 of the large steel dies including an alphabet, pinwheel, banners along with 7 smaller ones to date but more have been ordered. So I want to be able to use them properly of course and would hate to damage my new embossing machine. Just any help would be so appreciated. Thank you if you can. Also Stay Safe Everyone. It is possible that they aren't discontinued but ran into production and finding materials during the covid situation. My fingers are crossed. I will keep searching at least once a week on google and elsewhere including ebay to possibly find one. By the way loved the demos and some of them are fantastic. I started to search for the flip it dies now. Did locate a few but found out it wasn't that easy as they may have multiple numbers and not clear what say circle 4 is compared to a # 2. When I say I'm a newbie I have yet to cut one sheet of cardstock through my brandnew machine. Live in rural remote area of MT and don't believe anyone else about has any such craft classes or lessons or such or clubs to join. Think this is going to be a learning curve on my own. I'm game for it as I turned 71 on Feb 11 which is when I decided to find a new hobby for this year as the house arrest period is growing a bit old. I will go camping solo as soon as weather allows which is one reason I choose an embossing cutting machine with NO MOTOR's to be able to take out to the woods and have something besides books, hiking, riding my bicycle to do at times. Ok I work jigsaw puzzles too. And now and again someone joins me but love my she camping trips and there are a lot of ladies my age even older out there enjoying nature and time off from the regular world. No cell phone reception so that's a blessing too. LOL
