Love this sketch! Working on last year’s Easter photos. There are lots, and I printed a few 5 X 7s so this sketch is just what I needed! TY!

This was so educational! I love sketches and am always challenged about how to adapt them, because really, who ever has the exact same sized photos as what's in the sketch, am I right? Great job explaining how you take the sketch and use it as inspiration, this helped me a ton. I've just discovered your content from the SCT site, can't wait to start scrapping using your inspiration!

Thank you for sharing. I am a long time scrapbooker but lately just drifted away. I have been making cards. I joined Sketched 2024 to help me get back into the groove - your support, inspiration time and all you do is greatly appreciated.

Great sketch! I absolutely adore the first two layouts and how you used already printed photos on the first one. I have thousands of photos that are already printed out would love to be able to use them as is.

Thank you so much!! To me it's so much easier and fast to use what I have instead of trying to pick out the perfect photos that match the sketch exactly, then edit them, then print.

Love these videos so much! Thanks for the links to the FB groups. I don't see any of your replays of your recent lives that you mentioned. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks!
@allisondavis4sg9449 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! The FB lives happen on my Facebook page - Allison Davis 4 SG - which is a separate place from the Creating w/ Sketches group. Here's the link to that: facebook.com/allisondavisSG I will most likely move the lives to the Creating w/ Sketches group at some point! It seems like the perfect place for that!

Love your layouts! Can you share where you found the cutfile with the waves?
@allisondavis4sg9448 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I used a combination of three different cut files all from the Silhouette Design Store. 1. Flourishes - Snapdragon Snippets #63096 | 2. Wave strip - Echo Park #28688 | 3. Droplets - Amy Robison #83594 I use the droplets one all the time, it's one of my all-time favorite cut files for water themed layouts!

Hello. Love all these videos! Quick question can you please tell me if you hand stitch or machine stitch? And what do you use regular thread,floss? Thank you

Wow, Allison, you are a true inspiration!! I just found your channel recently and little by little, I’m starting to watch your videos, when I have the time.😊❤️👍🏼 You are so talented, I can’t believe you have come up with all these beautiful sketches, I definitely want to buy this sketchbook! I just need to buy myself a new printer first! I do have a couple of questions for you?? 1) I am assuming that you print out your own photos, I just recently bought the Epson 400, I know there is different apps you pay for to use for printing out smaller photos. What would you suggest? Someone told me to try pick frame. Do you have a video explaining how to do this? I’m sure for a lot of you younger ladies it’s easy! But I’m older and not as good with some electronics the way you girls are! Lol. 😂 2) I love the handmade stitching!! What type of thread do you suggest to use for stitching in scrapbook layouts? Thank you so so much for everything you’ve created in all that you do I don’t know how you do it all?! You should be very very proud of yourself! 😀❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you so much for taking the time to say all of this! I really appreciate the kind words and compliments! I actually have most of my photos printed at my local Wal-mart. I love the quality of their photo prints. I mostly crop my photos in Photoshop and then arrange them on a 4x6" print. I do have a Canon Selphy that I use at home sometimes when I need something printed right away. I haven't tried pic frame, but I've heard a lot of people enjoy using it. I have used the Project Life app and it's got some pretty great photo cropping/print capabilities. I do have a video showing that one and how I crop my photos, but I haven't uploaded it here yet. For stitching I always use DMC 6-strand embroidery floss. It's really is the best to use. It's so silky and smooth and easy to work with. Other brands I have tried don't seem to be as nice and are harder to work with because they tend to tangle more. I also only use 3 strands when I stitch instead of the full 6 strands. It makes it easier to pull the thread through the holes when you stitch with 3.

How cool!!! I grew up as a "race track brat" and loved every second of it! I'm pretty sure every weekend of my childhood was spent at the race track.
