The flat metal piece with rounded end is called a dough scraper or bench scraper. You hold the rounded end and can cut the dough in pieces or scrape your cut vegetables up and put in your skillet or pot.

Could you ladies please add my next-door neighbors to the prayer list? Guy passed away at home last week after going into cardiac arrest & was unable to be saved. That Guy will rest in peace & his wife Kris will find peace, strength, & comfort. Afternoon ladies from Andy in the UK. A quick question, why don’t you set up a separate box that you can fill up with the loose fruit and veg that has come out of the packaging, and, wild animals love mushrooms. I hope this is something you will consider for next time. Andy

You must be new here Andy! We give almost all the fruit and veggies to the critters. The boxes we already use are mostly for them! It has not been our experience in all the years that we've been feeding them that they "love" mushrooms. We often give them some and that's usually all that is left the next day! Our local wild life is pretty spoiled with all of the fruit they get. The only one I've actually seen eating the mushrooms is the biggest groundhog that we call Guillermo! The reason we didn't take any this time is that they were too far gone and they were slimy and smelly and we didn't want to stink up the van because we still had to ride in it for quite a bit longer! Were you one of the people that took them last time we donated some? Were they no good?Normally I don't put fruit in the boxes because it rots too fast and makes a terrible mess, but I thought these would be okay because of preservatives in the caramel and they're wrapped in plastic. None of them were left when we went back the next time and there was no sign of a mess, so I just assumed they were okay. The ones we kept for ourselves lasted a long time.
