I honestly would have gone with an LS for the sake of size a 5.3 would have fit with the ability to work on it with having to drop the subframe to maintenance the Hemi. Don't get me wrong totally cool but unless your going to build a tubular front end I don't see the benefit. I mean a 5'3 with a little 3 l Whipple or a 64 mm turbo and a t56 with a quick change rear diff.

He had to sell everything at a fraction of what he could have got. Along with all the storage n vehicles. Which included a 1935 Ford pickup and my great-grandfather's all original 1967 Chevy Caprice. With only 35,000 original miles. Two mid 50s dodge power wagon.... n the list goes on.... I miss the scrap life.😢

The vq is a tall engine to begin with, too bad you cant chop the engine mounts down about an inch to let the engine sit closer to the sub frame. Ill put money on the fact that the stock diff will go out just before or at the same time as the cd09 trans. Lol this is a sharp looking car and cant wait to see the upgrades that will go into it. I feel like the mustang irs diff would be able to hold the power if you have a decent way to mount it to the stock rear mounts.
