Stacy, your first Sizixx Do's and Don't class is what got me excited about Sizixx and card making. I had to buy the machine and tools and of course the dies!! The year before last I made Christmas cards for my Family and had a lot of fun doing it. Covid hasn't been that hard for me personally, because I just go in my crafty space and create. Thanks Stacy for taking the time to do such a great class! 🤗

Dear Stacey, You do such an excellent job of explaining how to do all the different things you can do with the Big Shot. You are so thorough and patient in instructing us how to use it properly. I've used mine for several years but absolutely enjoined this refresher course. The Dept. of Licensing should have you do a refresher course for drivers. Ha!

Hi, Stacy. I really enjoy watching your you tube classes. I have been paper crafting for about 15 years. I always find something I can use in my crafting. I think sometimes the smallest tips are the most useful. Also like your products and the samples that your staff makes. You have some really talented people working for you. I admire you for hanging in there in spite of all you have been thru, not only in your personal life as well as your business in this difficult time. Thank you again!!💞

I shopped the Warehouse sale yesterday and filled my cart with goodies, but when I clicked "check out" all my stuff was gone. SO SAD :-( I had watched the terms and conditions so I knew my cart wasn't saving, but I wasn't holding them for later--I literally shopped and then clicked purchase. I decided that I can't shop it again because it wasted so much time to shop and then not be able to purchase which instead of making my heart happy it just made it so very sad. So I've decided that I will just keep enjoying Stacy's videos!

I have had a big shot from waaaay back and it is still going strong! I still love my little embosslits!! You never know what size of a die you will need so they come in handy for a little embellishment. I also agree with you about the small cutting plates coming with the long cutting pad. When I first saw this I thought it was a mistake. I have had the long extension platform and cutting plates for many years as I have many of the 12" long foam dies and still use them. To me this was so much easier than picking paper out of tiny places. In fact I still use the old narrow plates with my small sidekick. Tools like these should never go out of style. There are always newbies just starting out in papercrafting that would love them too. So, thank you another wonderful video and thank you to Sizzix for producing wonderful products all these years!

Wish I'd have seen this before I got my first Big Shot. Very helpful to people just learning. So I've used all of these dies and still have them. And I learned as I went. Love the Precision base plate and use it a lot. Learned one thing, to not use the precision plate with the plus or fold away. Good things to know. Thanks for showing us how to use everything. Long but worth-wild.

I've had my Big Kick (same as a Big Shot) for some time now but love that you continue to do updated Do's and Dont's so it incorporates changes that have occured. Newer buyers will have a new platform with their machine so your experience with what works and doesn't work provides much needed guidance. Nothing more frustrating than searching for how to videos and no one has an updated version using the newer tools.

What a great refresher course. I did not realize you are not to use the precision base plate with the big shot plus. However, after using it for an extended period, I went back the the original big shot because I usually do not need that extra size plate. Now it just waits in the closet for those occasional times it is needed.

I have 3 Sizzix machines...they are all made very well. One of them is the Big Shot Pro...yes, it is built like a tank and weighs that much too 😆 I don’t really use mine anymore and bought it when I was into quilting. I may sell it. It is an excellent machine for quilters, but for paper crafting too. I put it to the test one time....the claim was that it could cut up to 12 layers of 100% quilting cotton. So I put 12 layers of cotton in and it cut every last edge! I don’t think I even had to make a 2nd pass. Now, I had to use all my strength to get it through and it was hard, but it worked and it didn’t do any damage to the machine! I also have an older Sidekick, one of the red ones and then a Vagabond that Ive had for about 5 years. I love the Vagabond and it held up pretty good until about 6 months ago...the motor wouldn’t completely send the die through...it would start to send the platform through and then it would just roll around and around & nothing would go through. I did get things stuck in a number of times by putting something through that would put a strain on the motor, so I’m probably to blame. But otherwise, it gave me a lot of good service.😁 For now, I have a Evolution Advanced...one of those where you can adjust the pressure. It’s pretty good, but I still prefer Sizzix.
