Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing some racing with weaponized go-carts. We must build cars using go-cart wheels and the go-cart seat, and only 3 small engines. We are allowed 1 small cannon, 1 snowball cannon, and 1 mini thruster. Only the person in last place can use their thruster. And the person in first place is not allowed to repair. The person who wins the most points at the end of all the races is the champion!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Suggestions: Do a race that every car has a crate dispenser, when the other player is at first place, they can use the crate dispenser, the seat should be armored seat, wheels will be spiked wheels and two bulldawg engines and one dragon engine. (Its like pretty much the same like this)

Do a bunker battle but with stuff you found on the workshop. So you have to use anything to defend but also attack. So like planes for offense and AA guns for defense, or a battle car for offense and mines for defense. Thanks scrap 💙

Same races. However, 6 power cores total, only gadgets allowed are small cannon, snowball, crate, and electromagnets. Otherwise, it's fair game for what you build, especially for propulsion! Careful, if you leave the race by flying off of it, you're disqualified!

Here's a suggestion: Rocket King of the Hill. A game of king of the hill where the only motive force you're allowed is thrusters. That means you'll need to use some form of jet or rocket engine if you want to move forward or slow down and you'll need to rely on thrust vectoring to turn. For an extra challenge, you can also disallow wings. The idea is to create a frenetic match with short bursts of quick movement that's hard to control.

For multiplayer Monday, how about a “Rocketship” challenge. The idea is that you use thrusters, but you can only turn them on for a limited amount of time, maybe 10 sec or something and there can be a limit to the amount. Whoever gets the highest or stays in the air the longest wins. And if that’s not exciting enough people can try to shoot you down as well.

Idea for a race. Ground vehicles where you have to drive forwards and do the same race again with the same vehicle but backwards the entire time and you take the lower of the two spots where you placed. just to really mess with the aerodynamics of car building.

huh, I was genuinely surprised when none of them had just left the thruster out entirely as dead weight and at least _considered_ facing the gun backwards, even just using it for a bit more thrust might be more useful than shooting in front of you if lining up a shot is going to cost you distance, let alone making it drastically harder to shoot you if you're leading (much harder and more expensive to dodge multiple obstacle behaviors when following).

Perhaps a 2 v 1 teaming battle, everyone makes two vehicles, you each take turns trying to take the 1's object ( a barrel?) the 1 has twice the capabilities of the 2 but the 1 cant attack unless the 2 are within, say an estimated 20 meters, the 2's home base is decided pre each match and has to be one of the interact able sections (catapult, canon, hydraulic press, grinders, etc) the round ends when either the 2 get the barrel to their base or 3 minutes have passed.
