Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are building bridge laying vehicles! We have a course with 3 large gaps to cross, and we have to cross them using a single bridge. That means we have to have a vehicle capable of carrying and placing the bridge over each gap to reach the end of the course!

i have an idea where you get given a whole bunch of modules to build a course to get to somewhere. like you might have a ramp that you have to stack on top of a block of cardboard, with another one in front of that to get up to a finishing platform, but you have to be able to shove a box up it to get to another place, before you are able to start working on that level. i reckon that this will get really intents as you can absolutely limit the area where the building creations can go, or you could put them at really random sizes, like a ramp might not be big enough to get on top of a box, but an entirely different box might be able to have a slight slope to it so that it is short enough to reach. another thing is if there is a gap that nothing can be placed on, there will be a specific piece that can lock on to another one to give it more weight, so that another end can reach along to the other side

Multiplayer Monday Idea: You need to create a car for another player. You could have some contraptions on the car to make the car hard to drive and make the other player not win. Add some restrictions (like maybe no glitches and make sure that it could somewhat be able to drive), and it might be a very interesting challenge to watch!

You guys really need to utilise forklift steering more, especially for these types of challenges. Honestly its such a better option for manoeuvrability in most of challenges you do in mm. No need for a 3 +point turn😆, and its far better that 4 wheel steering

Suggestion: battle bay themed boat battle all boats have level 3 thrust boost types: boost: spudgun shoots a metal panel in front of the spudgun. this allows extra speed. must have 3 second cooldown boat types: shooter: max 5-6 weapons, can at most add 2-3 layers of extra cardboard armour, no boost defender: max 2-3 weapons, allowed metal grid armour(this means choosing defender lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts. enforcer: max 2-3 weapons, allowed 2-3 extra armour layers, can have 4-5 boosts, speeder: half power level 5 thrusters, can have 1 extra armour layer, can have max 1-2 weapons, great distraction, can have 3 boosts fixer: max 2-3 weapons, can have 1-2 extra armour layers, allowed to call timeout for all players so teammates can repair. lasts for 10 seconds reaper: max 1-2 weapons, can have 2 boosts, can have 1-2 extra armour, can call 7 second timeout to let teammates repair interceptor: can have 1 boost, at most 3 layers of extra armour, 4 weapons allowed, guardian: can have 4 layers of extra armour, 2 weapons allowed, can have metal grid armour(this means choosing guardian lets you have a metal grid around your boat, the holes are filled with cardboard)no boosts.

MULTIPLAYER MONDAY IDEA: You should make a video where you and all of your friends make a car mostly out of destructible material and then you could have some arena with obstacles and you spawn normal tape bots first and last one to survive wins. then you could do a bonus round with explosive ones

Hey guys, love your videos. Long time fan and convinced me to buy Scrap Mechanic and Trailmakers. Tried to get some friends into it, but no one is really interested. Fortunately, you guys have me coming back to the games every once and a while just to mess around. I have to ask though, why don't you guys switch hosts for each person? With a bit of extra preparation, it could make it more fair for everyone in challenges like this one. I can understand certain competitions having a single host for the session such as actual competitions against each other(like battlebots or something like that), but when it comes to videos like this where you are doing a task individually, wouldn't it be better to have each person host their own session for their part? I have been watching for a long time though, so maybe this doesn't happen as often as I think it does, but I recall hearing quite a lot that lag is preventing at least one of the players from performing as they wish. It realistically doesn't matter, but it would just be a nice little touch I think. edit: I can see it as being a disconnect having to leave and connect to another host now that I think about it, but with some pre-prep, it might not be much of an issue. Keep up the good work to all of you. I really appreciate your videos.
