I love the vibe of these videos so much. I wasn't a Sonic kid until Sonic X started airing here, but I absolutely understand what people mean when they say this feels nostalgic in that weird, dreamlike way. Especially the Terios message at the end; so cool, yet so eerie and foreboding.

Just finished the Hidden Character video. The vibe I get from these videos borders on unsettling and comforting. I played a lot of Sonic Adventure 2 when I was younger. I've only played Sonic Adventure 1 once. Is the mushroom level supposed to be there, or is that a part of the easter egg? The ending makes me think that in this timeline they kept Terios design and never came up with Shadow? I want to know more!

The mushroom level is definitely part of the easter egg, potentially representing an early version of Green Forest or White Jungle from SA2 (at least, that’s one of my ideas)

More fan-made stuff in Sonic R style mod is being made! Love to see some kind of Mushroom Hill zone been made! Although the fog vs background are blending terribly. But hey, it is still impressive that modders figured out how to make LEVELS in Sonic Adventure! This is an achievement! PS. the music track for Egg Carrier is great. Gives Sega Saturn vibes!

The fog issue is mostly because I put the detail level on the lowest setting (to more so emulate that "Sega Saturn" look) but yeah any custom stages are great to see!

I’m definitely interested in doing that! I think I’d need to see more/better mods released for SA2 first though, as I feel like the quality doesn’t quite match what we’ve received for SA1. Some Sonic R models are available to use but Tails and Eggman are missing, plus I’d just like to see more “saturn” mods in general like a saturn style Terios
