This is nice! I thoroughly enjoyed it! In fact, I'm making a Triang-style model locomotive based on this!

I just wanted to ask about the Lnwr improved precedent class but I wanted to know, was that many lasted into the ownership of the London Midland and Scottish Railway. Did they handle any trains under LMS ownership?
@crashingboy20027 ай бұрын
I am aware the LMS had the scrap and build policy, but I want to know for a railway that would actually preserve old designs and new designs with the railways of Britain be fine with many other locomotives that were not patched up or rebuilt get preserved as a way to get them off their hands during the scrap and build policy like when many pre-grouping engines were replaced or many 19th century locomotives during the pre-grouping era were being replaced by pre-grouping locomotives of the 20th century like the great northern singles for instance, would they be fine with that or would you be fine with that?

maybe you can do the lnwr claughton class next time

The Claughtons will be covered. Don’t worry. In all honesty, the Claughton Class is one of my favorite LNWR classes.

@@reesochacon1448 i’m glad to hear that and I’m pleased to hear that it’s your favorite locomotive class but I was also thinking can you also create another series really discuss locomotives that only had a soul Survivor?

Nice video lad, I kinda wish that the LNWR 4-4-0s and 4-6-0s had more documentation and were better treated by the LMS
@reesochacon14482 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, that was the way of the LMS. If they could replace a class with something else, or the class was too expensive to maintain, then the LMS simply ordered them to be withdrawn and scrapped. Unfortunately, many LNWR locomotives fell into both categories. As for the documentation, the LMS and the Southern Railway are the trickiest railways for which to find information unless the locomotive class, such as this one, or the railway were well-known.

Two comments- 1),On the background colors please use a gray,or matte white,as the black locos fade into the black,literally! That's the reason why the British Railways used gray for documentation photography! CONTRAST,CONTRAST!! 2) O.S.Nock had a series of books on various locomotives and one was on the Precursors[2nd use],Georges,and Prince of Wales classes! BTW,there were two Railways in the US,that had the same attitude as the LNWR,on locomotives! They were the Pennsylvania,and the Chicago& North Western,as the loco classes were haphazardly split through the rosters! There was a pattern in both cases,but you had to know the history of the respective companies! Anyway,I hope this information will help you in your worthy endeavors! Thank you! Thank you 😇 😊! P.S.I have had some small experience in the graphic arts,and if you get a good book on Commercial Photography,it will help,and you'll be less likely to make mistakes! Again,thank you,for getting the more obscure engines into daylight!!

I’m kind of stumped. I am aware that some of the names of the George the fifth class were removed and reused on the lms jubilee class and the patriot class but i’m struggling for like which ones of this roster and under London and north western railway locomotives had their names removed and replaced on some new London Midland in Scottish railway locomotives please can you send me a list of names, removed, from locomotives and reused on other locomotives
@reesochacon14488 ай бұрын
That is going to take me some time, seeing as this was a common occurrence amongst the LNWR express passenger roster.

Where did you find those images
@reesochacon14483 жыл бұрын
Most of the images that I find come from Wikimedia commons. In the intro, the images for Episodes Four through Twelve come from lner.info, Wikimedia commons, and Rail UK. However, the image of the rail crash comes from railwayarchives.co.uk. The image can also be found on an Irish news website titled rte.ie. Since Episode Sixteen or Seventeen I believe it is, I have started including the credits from where I got my images right next to the images themselves.
