Scrapping A Plasma T.V for Cash

First time scrapping a Plasma Tv are you curious to see what’s all inside for goodies cause I am! So come along with me and we can find out together! I have a bunch of lcd and led tv’s to tear down for scrap metal and proper recycling of the rest of the TV! I feel good knowing these things don’t wind up in the landfills the more we recycle things properly the less trash and hazardous waste winds up in the developing country’s around the world!

plasma tv's are fun to break down and very little amount of trash. Aluminun black peace heated up with heat gun and it will separate easily.

Yea they aren’t to bad and I was wondering if a heat gun would work to separate the glass off that huge aluminum backing then pop the steel pins off if might have to make another video trying that! Thanks Brother CheeRs 🐺♻️🤘🏻

Hello friend listening I’ve disassembled stuff before like these headphones that I found( rare earth magnets) there are useful resources in stuff and “more than meets the eye” like sCRews, magnets, metals and such. CR finds many small scale electronics all the time. Again more resources getting reused. Lol a pane or pain both jk

@@scrapnjunk81 here in Alberta no one buys boards unless you know a private buyer. I do have golden money but they only buy certain items. A Canadian board sort would be cool but it’s certain laws here in Alberta we pay to recycle electronics lol

It’s sat there like that for the last 15 years since we built the shop and it’s not insulated so we don’t heat it in the winter so we don’t draw the frost in. Maybe this summer we can get it insulated! CheeRs Bro 🤘🏻♻️🤘🏻

The glass that’s attached to the sheet aluminum back comes off with a heat gun! How ever I just hate dealing with glass lol

I've never scrapped a plasma. This makes me hope I never see one because if I do, you know it's gotta get scrapped. If I don't see it though... As for the video, it was hard to read the popups because I watch in 2x maybe you could leave them up a second or two longer. Not a huge deal because usually I'm doing other stuff while the videos play. I have to say that watching you try to get the back off in 2x speed made it look like you were throwing a tantrum. Pretty funny.

Yea the glass was cracked when I found it laying in the snow in a ditch on a back road lol I'm guessing someone didn't want to pay to recycle it or it was stolen either way it's been recycled now!
