Nice! I have scrapped a few of these and they are good and heavy. I was able to get some working too. Nice old systems.

If only you were closer I would buy all this type of equipment you find as it hurts to see receivers, DVD players, etc be scrapped out when they can be rescued for reuse. I’m not against scrapping but items like this deserve a chance. I’m just an AV Equipment advocate and recycler so that’s where my view point is coming from. BUT it’s better scrapped than in the dump when it’s all said and done.

It didn’t work I do test things prior to scrapping them I have a shed half full of electronics that do work I try to yard sale them heck I can even give ‘em away! If it works I won’t scrap it but I’m running a storage locker for old junk either if it’s in the dump it’s fair game!

@@BushDogScrapper nice! As we can both agree the it’s better out of the landfills! so either way will serve that purpose be it reselling or scrapping. Both work and keep these items out of the landfill! Keep on rocking on! Now if you have a surplus of walkmans I might be down to pay to have those shipped to me! 🙋🏾♀️🤔

If you fixed it, it would probably be with more money than the small precious metals you get out of it. You could just take it to the shooting range and blow holes in it, or bash it with a sledgehammer. Put it in an industrial shredder. Throw it In a fire. People like to watch stuff burn. It's easit and cheaper for you. It's easy to destroy. It takes skill, and smarts to make, build and fix. Ask any mechanic, metal worker, carpenter, farmer. Making, growing, building, way cooler. Check out My Mechanics channel, see how things are built and fixed. Try fixing something next time. KZbin waste of my time.
