Yes it was really windy here in Tennessee yesterday, very little rain. Weird but didn't lose power. Great video.

First thanks for the bandsaw idea. to help save your wrist and some more time you may want to cut all them first then switch to pulling out the copper that would save you from turning the vise in and out so many times

You maybe should try to keep the blade straight at all times

I was thinking, is it possible to use the Bandsaw on transformers too? Instead of breaking the weld seam, and then hammering the coil out, you can cut one side of the winding and use your special hammer to pull the copper from other side?

I will try

That tool does look like it cuts easily through most. How do you like using Milwaukee tools? It appears you have most of the battery powered tools.

I am breaking my head on what are the factors where some copper is cutting smoothly while others copper strands are messing up.
@Livingoffofscraps3 күн бұрын
The heavier copper windings just hit the top of the teeth on the bandsaw, the smaller copper windings fall in the valleys between the teeth on the bandsaw and get caught then it just pulls it into a bandsaw instead of cutting it

Some motors have hair wire, If I lube the blade it helps

That band saw is making work of those motors, too bad they pull, i did about 20 if these motors with a grinder a week ago and that band saw is way faster and u dont have to wear a respirator
