Few questions.... Why do you not wear gloves when looking threw trash but put them on when dumping? Does your scrapyard allow you to cut cords or remove brass fittings from your load while dumping?

Dude, good rescue on those garbage bags. I hate buying them. They aren't cheap, and then you go home, fill them with trash, and then throw them away. It's a huge waste of money to me.

My yard takes ceiling fans without the blades as electric motors and I notice you always toss them out as shred. so I am guessing they only take them as shred? Also I always take the compressors and copper off of fridges. BUT to each his own. GREAT run and video man. Its just to hot here now during the day to scrap so whats better than watching scrap videos during the heat of the day here in Texas other than a good ol nap.

Jr scrapper if you want the copper lines you do.
@richardvarley19745 жыл бұрын
Reputable scrapyards do it for you, some of them even knock off a few bucks as a "fee" to do it, but at least you can expect that it gets done.
@omertametals2245 жыл бұрын
@@richardvarley1974 say for instance u tool fridge to my yard with gas in it they charge u 25$ do get rid of it .so I bought a machine I charge 2-5$ depends how gas there is then I real sell the gas to ac buddy of mine I make more of the gas then the whole fridge so I get paid for the gas and I strip every last peice on them lol 👍
@richardvarley19745 жыл бұрын
@@omertametals224 Here they charge you around $5 at some yards (some don't charge). I've heard that some yards up north or in big cities won't take it unless you can show paperwork that the coolant has be removed. Even if you had a licensed/approved recovery system I don't believe you can resell/reuse the coolant, even when licensed. Not sure on that one though, the only thing I ever recharged was my own automotive coolant back when you could get R12 (before the R134a requirements). God Bless!

Oh no I didn't cut the cord, yet you can't walk 5 feet to the front of the truck to get your cutters, the laziest scrapper I watch on KZbin
@richardvarley19745 жыл бұрын
Number one, he has stated before that his yard does not like him to "process" scrap in the yard. Number two, once scrap hits your truck it is yours. Once it hits the scrapyard ground it belongs to the yard. Period. Was it a boo-boo? Sure. Is it worth risking causing a stir with the yard to clip it once it hits the ground? Nope.
