According to the Bible, Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am", but he NEVER said "Before Enoch, Noah, Adam & Eve were, I am". And never even said "Before Melchitzedeq was, I am". And we know Melchitzedeq has no father, no mother, no genealogy, he is the ever living priest of God the Most High, and we know well that Abraham, David and Jesus (who all had a genealogy) were priests in the order of Melchitzedeq, who therefore is by far superior to them. Therefore Jesus' statement "Before Abraham was, I am" means Jesus (as well as Abraham and David) is priest in the eternal sacerdotal order of Melchitzedeq and not that he is God. Jesus NEVER even said "I am divine and eternal as God is since ever".

If this Christian is hungnupon “i am” defining man god Astagfirullah! Then how can he clarify or do with statements where Jesus pbuh says that of himself he can do nothing. Also when asked aboit eternal life Jesus pbuh states that So that may know u the only true God and Jesus pbuh whom thou have sent. Jesus seen worshipping asking God for his help in the garden while the romans r looking for him. There r many many more such statesments and so how then how can those be interpreted if one clings on the “I am” defining it as indication of God ie being a God based upon the Old Testament when Moses askes God who or what should he say has sent him and God replies per the Old Testament “ I am who I am” so now where ever Christians see the term “ I am” they cling to it meaning God and nothing else just like an infant lings and suckles moms breast. May Allah Guide. The other thing actually being the basics before even beginning to debate on verses from the old and New Testament is its reliability. With corruption accepted by biblical scholars how can one quote from such a book not knowing the purity /virginity of the verse from such text. Period! Simple!

“Before Abraham was, I Am.” if we were to say I Am= God the verse will read, “Before Abraham was, God.” This isn’t even a complete sentence, so I’m just confused how this would make any sense either way. I mean, if I Am means God, then wouldn’t it quote, “Before Abraham was, I am I Am.” Or wouldn’t he just simply would have said, “Yes, I’ve seen Abraham, because I’m God.” Saying, “Before Abraham was, I am.” I don’t understand how this is proof Christians use to claim Jesus saying he is God.

Jesus had the full measure of the Spirit of God resting upon him. This made him both Messiah, and the Son of God. What Muslims fail to understand is the importance of the Holy Spirit. God is Spirit, and without this Spirit there is no eternal life. In Surah 15:29, and also in Surah 38:72, God breathed his Spirit into Adam, and he became a living soul. Muhammad took this idea from Genesis 2:7. The irony is that scholars have attempted to change the meaning of these passages to justify their theology. Instead of acknowledging God as Spirit, they try to claim that God breathed a created Spirit into Adam. This suggests that God himself is a created Spirit. How can God possibly give eternal life if God cannot 'beget' life? How can an uncreated God 'breathe' a created Spirit?
