Gayle, we had a bad storm this week and we lost power for over two days. All our food has to be thrown out from refrigerators and freezers. Then I found out that a classmate and friend of mine, since we were four, passed yesterday. I cannot tell you how many of your videos I have listened to today as I work on a slow stitching project. Your voice and laughter are helping me. Thank you for all you do. You have no idea what a bright shining star you are.

Yea, I got my whale tail tab punch way back in the day and never thought in a million years that they would be selling for $100.00, but sure am glad I got mine. I asked a Stampin' Up lady to suggest it to her upline because they could make a ton of money on that punch alone. She said that corporate does what corporate 2ants to do and they have never brought back a discontinued item before..there ya have it!

Spent today Reorganizing my craft room. Finally got it mostly done. I spent some time in front of TV tonight doing some collage. I used some cardboard boxes to store some larger items and I didn’t like the front of the boxes so I covered them with the collage papers! I think they look so much nicer and I got to use up a lot of scraps! I’m getting better at collage. I love watching you collage. It was 80 degrees here today. In the 40’s tomorrow!?

Your collages were so pretty and the tabs are wonderful! I watched Rachel thinking, oh I don't think I would ever do that, too tiny and tedious. Then you dig out your tiny pieces and Wa La beauty prevails! Now I can't wait to try it. We have had horrible winds this spring. Yesterday was terrible high winds and multiple wild fires across Nebraska with many towns in the path and having to be evacuated. Our drought is terrible right now, equivalent to the Dirty Thirties. Hi Gayle! These came out so cute. I can't remember who, but someone I watch cuts the circle in half then glues the 2 round edges together to make a tab. They even corner punched the straight ends after for a little softer look.

I hope you found all kinds of great things vintage market and I hope you will show them to us soon. There’s one coming up on a farm about 45 minutes away on Mother’s Day that I hope to go to although I’ve never really found ephemera there but you never know. We have a really large antique mall in the area that usually has a big parking lot sale in the spring and in the fall but it hasn’t been for a while because of the you know what. I really hope they have one in the spring.

Mornin, Gayle! I ❤ Scrappy Saturday! This was really fun to watch. I thought the collage was so pretty, and when I do mine, I'm going to scan and print it so I can get more tabs out of it. Regarding the scraps and electricity, if it's a plastic bin, try switching to wood or cardboard? Just a thought, kinda like when you rub a ballon on your hair and it sticks.

Hi Gayle! Started watching this on Saturday and got inspired to do something I've been wanting to try. We get so many junk address labels from organizations wanting us to donate. Also, other stickers that come in our junk mail.. They are stickers, so I thought I could do a collage over the address labels (junk stickers) and then, use my punches to make label stickers that are ready to stick. Just peel the back off. I thought this could be done ffor anything you might want to make into usable stickers for Junk Journaling. You could even do pages of fussy cutting items from Etsy kits. So, I tried that out and it works great at making your own JJ stickers. Fun, too. I don't know if you've ever tried that before, but if not, I thought I'd share my idea. Love the bags. I’ve made a few. on my wale tales I put a hole and ball pin one to the bags I have to many and always grappled the wrong one 💕 and they look cool. I Seal them so they’re tough.

I quit doing this in 2020 but I used to save all of my scraps even the little giblets and when it would fill my gallon bucket I would turn it into handmade paper! It was getting too ocd 😆

It probably would work with scrapbook paper. It would be a bit thick to collage and then bend in half, so maybe better to just cut tags from the scraps of scrapbook paper directly? ❤️
