The second channel I follow with a reference to Zippo today, love it! We live in Bradford, Pa, home of Zippo and my wife retired from there after 42 years. Those tape measures were/are neat, use one as well.

I have struggle with an 115mm nut,i was heated,banged,svared,and several trys with all those things at the same time,but the solutions was to drill and tap in 3 flates and screw in grease nipples,heat it up and press in grease and an home made spanner from 2" steel plate with an excavator in the end...it come loose

Straining and heavy breathing seem to go hand in hand with anything bulldozer related. I find it interesting that the stud for attachments is related to draining the transmission I’d figure a dedicated drain plug.

Nice work and as a bonus you did not destroy anything. Having 1.5" studs means its hard to twist one off however using a forklift as a wrench lever is one way to overcome even bolts this size. Who made (what Brand were the wrenches) the combi wrenches they are stout!! Again Congrats on a great outcome. Ray Stormont

I drained about the same quality of oil from our 125e (IH/dresser) About 20 gallons from the 13gallon? rear Gearbox. No clue were the water was getting in - could just be years of condensation... (no clue when it was changed last)

The damage to the disks has been done as evidenced by what was found in the strainer. The oil change would cost over $1000 so I will wait until I am rebuilding

Tough rusted nuts and bolts, spray first with Liquid Wrench. If no go, use heat too.

Heat those bolts/nuts red hot and quench with cold water. Works more times than not. Work smarter, not harder.

This is why I leave Sam's videos for a day or two. I don't want to waste time watching something that doesn't require expending a lot of energy doing or un-doing sticky hardware. Sam as usual, you've blown the opposition out of the water (or was that gear oil?). Bet you were glad someone wanted something off the td25 that you were glad to part with. Clinton would not be someone I'd expect to want a ripper, but then again you never know with him. He has plans, just don't ask what!

As an old timer, I suspect that someone put water in that transmission. Probably had a hose break, fixed it and because it blew out all the hydraulic fluid, filled it with water 'just long enough' to move the machine. I've seen worse.
