21:30 after doing all that complicated code, my ball still goes the exact same way after hitting the bricks. this is so annoying i feel like giving up 😭😭🥺🥺

13:16 I don't know what exactly happened but I didn't have to do anything. When I tested it, the bricks broke for some reason. Also, my ball is too fast. For fixing the ball speed, I changed the originalSpeed to 4, but that changed everything to normal. The bricks didn't break, as they should.

I started building a brick breaker game before watching this video, so I did a lot of things differently. I added a score variable and in my "if brick is touching ball" section I added to increase score by 1. I also have a set score to 0 under my when green flag is clicked in my brick sprite's commands. I have 168 bricks in my game right now, so I included a if score = 168 stop all. I do not have levels worked out yet.

13:38 bro it’s not that complex just add a wait block between each broadcast command and the set xVel block with a timer of 0 seconds. A wait block set to zero seconds waits until the next frame to continue the code it’s in. This gives time for the broadcasting command to process and therefore will break the block. Edit: Broadcast and wait works good too

Useful tutorial, as I had said. But I've got a problem. When the stationary clones of the ball sprite are made, it works fine, but it removes the clone ball we use. Therefore I had to cancel the idea of balls being clones and the one, original ball is the one which we are using, so making multiple balls might be impossible or complicated. Do you know what could happen? Please help. PS Also, when I'm done with the game, could I show you? :3
