In the Canons of Honor, Mandalorians are told to bring up their children to be Mandalorians. You have done well, ner vod.

Oh hey, we have the same work gloves, haha. Thanks for putting up this video; I'm gonna try my best to build a Mandalorian costume for this Halloween. With my jewelry-making and construction experience, and the guidance from this video, I think making the armour itself will be fairly simple.

Sounds like you have a solid skill set to get the job done! I find making armor to be incredibly rewarding, hope you feel the same way when you get it finished! Halloween is coming! Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Intrigued! Also working with Aluminium so good to see different techniques 😁

I am a bit behind your build but was pretty excited to see you jumping in with the shrinking stump. Much looking forward to seeing you get that armor done!

You can make a Jango Costume Easily doing this. Rarely any paint required, because it's already shiny.

I considered doing a Jango costume at one time, but much prefer the freedom of being able to do my own thing! It would indeed be fairly easy though! Thanks for watching.

What kind of 16 gauge aluminum are you using?
@eric-bkc5 жыл бұрын
3003, not really out of any active choice on my part, it is what the (semi) local metal supply carries. I buy it in 4x8 sheets.

Where can I find the Template at
@eric-bkc3 жыл бұрын
I used the downloadable templates off the MMCC website. A ton of useful stuff there! mandalorianmercs.org/get-involved/costume-templates/

Do you have some kind of a blueprint for self re maling it?
@eric-bkc3 жыл бұрын
I use the base templates from the MMCC site for sizing, and everything else from then on I just sort of make up as I go along. Sorry :( mandalorianmercs.org/get-involved/costume-templates/

When you have more aluminum than pvc board so you end up here.....
@eric-bkc5 жыл бұрын
lol, yep, and I can still get aluminum cheaper than I can pvc, so unless I 3d print the parts, aluminum it is!

Ironically, this is cheaper sintra.
@eric-bkc5 жыл бұрын
I havent picked up metalt lately, but the last time I bought it a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet was cheaper than I could get sintra shipped, and since I live in a smaller area, none of the local sign shops used or carried any sort of pvc sheet material. Add to that I didnt even know sintra existed when I started my first 2 kits, and well, I just find it cheaper and easier to use metal!
