LOL, when you went to scratch start the thing. l reached up to pull down my helmet! I'm inside the house and am not welding at all, but the reaction is habit to pull down the helmet! I bot an attachement for a Lincoln 250 in the 80's--it was scratch start. I used it a while, learned the basics but it was a pain in the you know what so since I never really needed it, it sat there for 30 years doing nothing. A couple years ago I managed to get the PrimeWeld225. It's like putting hot butter on hot toast and so easy to use and sooooo adjustable! Love your vids.

Merci Jordy pour l'astuce d'enfiler les deux doigts l'un sur l'autre pour diminuer la chaleur,je n'y avait pas pensé.

*_Tig Finger is great. Got mine a couple years back. Even if you don't weld much, tig fingers are affordable enough that everyone should have one in their tool box._* 👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣

Tig finger is an excellent product, I have both versions ! Wish I had one back in 2005 when I took nite classes on Tig in my local community college ! My instructor Mike , passed away recently, great guy and a hell of a welder in any process! As time has gone by, and I’ve watched your channel for many years , I often wonder why he never showed the lay wire technique or walking the cup? Really enjoy all of your videos!

That tig finger is nice to have just in case. When I was running a nuclear fan shop I bought it for all of my guys so they could stay steady on our welds that when though a lot of testing

I'm remembering to use my TIG fingers more often. Once I started to use them more I rdidn't need to burn myself as a reminder.

I think I use the tig finger wrong, I have utterly destroyed the knuckles on my left hand and still seem to burn myself Everytime I use it.
